“The food is very good. Every time I’ve eaten there I enjoy every bite. The flavours vary. The menu varies but it has some solid favourites as standard like the burger. I’ve driven there for takeout which takes me an hour each way. Why? Because I like the food and supporting small businesses in quaint towns. Alton is a hidden as is this restaurant. It’s worth the road trip.“

“Fantastic smell when you enter this bakery, cinnamon, apple, and fresh breads, wander around looking at the goodies and take in the aroma. Plenty of helpful staff. The apple fritters are baked just the way I like them, dark and a little crispy on the outside, soft and a perfect bake inside. Parking can be hard to find, lots of traffic, and on going construction in Erin.“

“Really nice place well worth a visit. We went here after a small hike in Cheltenham Badlands in the autumn. Tasted some cider and then ordered pizza that we ate outside. All good! Got some cider to go as well. Nice staff and free parking just outside.“

One quick google search later, we have now visited Heatherlea Farms AT LEAST once a month. We DREAM about their Farmer Gord's Steak Sandwich and the BEST EVER grilled cheese. (We even had the pleasure to tell Gord we love the steak sandwich named after him!!!!) We are totally hooked on their steaks and their Korean BBQ short ribs, which have now become a tradition for us to haul and enjoy on our annual summer camping trip at Algonquin. We have introduced my parents, my in-laws & friends to this amazing, one-of-a-kind spot. We've even seen some of their cows out on their front lawn during the summer. Truly a magical place.“
