“Unfortunately, I had the steak chunk sandwich, on special....their name for it was a Cheesesteak sandwich...chunks of reheated old steak, with ample grizzle, without cheese...couldn't eat it...but the onion rings were great...used to love going there, but the food has dropped in quality...sad. Did get ample apologies from our waitress, and it's certainly not her fault...she did go inside, after seeing the mess on my plate...comped half the price, even with 3/4 left...oh well...thank you, I guess.“

“I met up with my family at On the Rocks for Tuesday $1.00 burger night and the food was very good. They have awesome fried rice there too. Everyone in our party really enjoyed the food. “Stopped in to get a quick bite to eat, was served my food within 10 minutes of being there and the fries and burger was amazing 🤩 the cook even took time out to make sure the food was to my liking 👍 will def be coming back! “Want to give a review for Chloe S. I came in with my grandparents and niece along with my 2 children, 3yrs. old and 8 weeks old. She sat us outside under the awning and was a great experience. Showed the kids a lot of attention and made sure we were all taken care of coming out and checking on us consistently. BTW the food was great!“

“DISCLAIMER: I WILL L LEAVE OUT MY OPINION ABOUT THE FOOD BECAUSE WHEN I ATE THERE, I WAS COMING DOWN WITH A SINUS INFECTION. THAT CAN ALTER HOW THINGS TASTE.Coney with a small town diner feel. This is one of those places where you just know most of their daily business is from the community, and the staff probably knows most of the customers names.My waitress was named Julia and she was both witty and pleasant. The service was extremely quick and cashing out was a breeze.I must go back and visit again in a few weeks. I will update this soon.“

“For a stereotypical American breakfast-type chain restaurant, the food is pretty good and consistent. I've never had any real issues with my orders and IF there was a mistake it was always minor and corrected immediately with an apology and a smile.

The atmosphere is a bit nostalgic which is part of the charm for me personally. It feels old school and comforting which is nice in a fast-paced world.

The customer service is really why I'm here to write this review though. Having frequented this place so much to the point where a few of the servers know exactly who I am and what I want (lol), it's still always a pleasant interaction and warm smiles all around. If I ever move, I will sincerely miss this place.“

“I picked this location due to having entertainment whether it be a live band or a DJ but none was available due to possible rain which was understandable but felt could always have a DJ on standby. Other than that, the food and service was excellent.“

“Between doctor appointments, a friend & I had lunch at Olga’s Kitchen, located in Woodhaven, MI, yesterday. The food was really good & Sabrina, our server was excellent. We received some of the best service I have ever had and I wanted to recognize her. Sabrina was very personable and very, very attentive to our needs. Due to illness I am unable to get out very often and she made this a most enjoyable Olga’s’ experience. Thank you Sabrina, are an asset to your employer!“

“Always pleasant at SR. Did a To-Go order this time. The chicken gravy on the carved turkey dinner was delicious. The green beans were similar to fresh. Probably the steam type in a bag that is long, not a can version. My potato skins were delicious as usual. The Club was very good as usual but needed to add mayo or other of your choice when we got it home. I enjoyed my tuna salad croissant in-house more than the one I had this time. I prefer not leaf lettuce for next time. The coleslaw was okay. I wouldn't get it again but that is my choice. Hubby added pepper and some other stuff to his to make it taste better. We love this restaurant and have been going there for at least 7 years now. Friendly waitstaff and other staff. Mike has a great place to keep it alive. Lots of menu choices. Always busy during peak times. Only wish they could expand and even have a banquet room on site. Parking is always so full and if the parking lot is full, usually means the restaurant is full or you may have a few minute wait. Booths need a little more room for the larger folks that come. There are only a couple of tables with chairs so some groups have to wait a little longer to be seated at them. If you can be fitted at a booth, they are a little tight for larger folks. They can take the wall partition down in the center to seat a larger group in two booths if needed.“

My partner called to say he arrived and they kept him on hold for 8 minutes until they came back and said they're waiting on biscuits. He waited even longer. I am sick and my meal was a simple coconut shrimp appetizer. Not complicated to pack up whatsoever along with his fish and chips and a salmon dinner for my friend (that the chef DOUSED with salt. I took a bite myself, it was basically inedible.). I then called to report these issues and they told me they're too busy (on a Monday night at 7pm well past any dinner rush lolol) to deal with me and they will call back "later... Like way later if you're even still awake" - verbatim from the hostess' mouth. 🙄 Didn't offer a replacement or a refund, just blatantly let me go without dinner and did ZERO to mend the situation. Absolutely asinine. We paid $70 for sh*tty fish and chips basically. 🤣 Save yourself the hassle and eat anywhere but here.“

“I have seen this place online but I am seldom in the area. Saturday my friend and I stopped for lunch. We sat near the front of the building so I had a chance to look the place over. Retired USMC, I know what clean is and this is clean, clean, clean. We each had a variation of their cheeseburger, and both were cooked exactly the way we asked for. Tender, juicy, delicious. We both agreed one of the best burgers we have had in many years. Anxious to go back and try more of their menu. Great service and everyone was "small town" kind of friendly.“

Came in yesterday (Sunday) and I told the waitress “they made it exactly how I wanted it-it was delicious” -and she said “they better! I put them on notice!!” ?? Everyone seemed happy to be there, and I heard the waitstaff saying goodbye to each other at shift change-and all were so sweet to each other. No catty drama. “The slim Jim's are more like they used to be back in the 70s and 80s. Gotta love a good Slim Jim. One thing I noticed about the Wyandotte Big Boy is that the tomatoes did not have a yellow center. They looked like they were grown in your home garden. 😊“
