“Definitely worth coming into to grab a sweet and a warm beverage and sitting for a nice conversation. It's a beautiful cafe with really delicious treats! I had an espresso and red velvet cookie while my wife had an Egyptian chamomile tea and creme brulee cookie. It all is amazing!“

“Made a quick pit stop here before hitting the Ambassador Bridge to head home! Definitely worth the stop! They had the best customer service, and the staff was awesome. I had a brief conversation with one of the employees, and it was a very welcoming experience for just a bathroom break and some hot chocolate. I’ll definitely be back here when I’m in Amherstburg again!

“Today 4/22/2022 we had a disappointing experience with our purchase at The Pasty Shop. I ordered (2) regular beef pasties at 2:00 for pickup at 4:00. When I got them home and cut into them they were extremely dry, had no onion, and the inside of the crust was burnt. “We love Scoopy’s. We’ve been going there for years. Love the hand scooped ice cream & the sundae’s. Last evening though, we had a bad experience with the shakes and malt that were ordered. The chocolate tasted like chocolate milk and my son said his vanilla was like vanilla milk. They were not very thick at all. We had 2 separate orders that my husband was trying to make into one and just pay’ so maybe the girl making them was a little annoyed, (as I saw based on her facial expression….) We will still go back but definitely make sure to correct the shakes if those get ordered again“
