“Dropped into Philthy Philly’s for a late lunch with my son. The atmosphere was laid back, and the service was friendly. We appreciated chatting it up with Tyler, who was hospitable and more than willing to help us avoid my son’s food allergies — peanuts and sesame seeds. In addition to the hospitality, I was very impressed with how well maintained the restaurant feels. The washrooms are very clean, and their “share your business card” wall really reflects the pride they take in their service to the community. Overall, the food is fairly priced, delicious — comforting even — and served with professional courtesy. It quickly became one of my son’s favorite restaurants in the area — and mine as well.“

I had a slight discrepancy and did not receive my bottled water with my meal after ordering delivery via the Harvey's App. Although I was unable to do anything through the app about such, a simple call to the restaurant had the person in charge letting me know I could get this missing item at my next visit- as I had suggested.

“The food was great. the service was also great however I would suggest letting people eating chosing to tip 18% or not. I went there for the first time and budgeted to be able to go. I called ahead as well for pricing of what I would be ordering. Since it was a work event and there was more than 6 people they automatically put the tip on our bills. This is the one reason I personally won't go there too often. I have no problem tipping but it should be my choice how much and if I even do.“

“It’s a friendly place but I was surprised that they do not have trays for Ice Cream cones? They kept on wanting to put the cone upside down in a cup??? Something has been lost at Dairy Queen. When I was a kid (in the 70’s) , I was tasked with hopping in the car, driving to to DQ and bringing back cones for everyone. They always had TRAYS for the cones. I can’t believe an Ice Cream cone place does not have trays!! When I got in the car today and had to modify a drink tray or my grandson would have been sad…“
