The kids pogos were burnt (have pics), the curd was not melted and barely warm (I even requested extra gravy on both poutines and half the fries were bone dry). I had asked for ketchup twice and she acted like it wasn't ordered in the first place and seemed inconvenienced when asked. We were pretty disappointed because it was over $50 plus tip and thats all the order really was... surprised as this place is always busy! just hoping this is constructive for future orders is all.
Chips and gravy were excellent! And WoW watched a couple peeling potatoes in the back! Speedy work!
We chose to eat here for the first time last night, the fries were absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back in the future! :)

Smokin’ Chip Wagon in Bancroft, Ontario, has been serving since 2001. Sitting on a picnic table, the food is great. The cheeseburger combo with an additional small onion ring is recommended, though the small fry portion is ample. The food is awesome and service is friendly and fast. The burgers and gyros are delicious. The place is sooo cute, and the staff is so nice. The poutine and onion rings are amazing, piping hot and fresh. Onion rings are crispy and broke well, not pulling out a hole onion on the first bite. The poutine is amazing, in the top 3, even compared to Quebec and Montreal. Prices are great. Locals say this fry wagon is worth the stop. Poutine is out of this world amazing. Friendly service and amazing food. The poutine is very good, one of the best in a long time. Gyros and cheeseburger are both very good. Prices are super high and they don't take debit. Service was a little abrupt. It is always a pleasure eating here, met with a smile and excellent service. The poutine is excellent; the gravy is PERFECT, not too thick. A cottage staple.
