“Husband and I recently relocated from the Maritimes, stopped in for breakfast and we were not disappointed! Friemdly and promt greetings, quick seating, great atmosphere and decor, amazing and diligent staff. Barrie location is more than happy to accommodate those with needing smaller portions as an adult. Our server went above and beyond any service we have received back home. even heard her communicate with the chef directly, and when an ingredient wasnt available, instead of taking it off the menu for the day, someone ran out and actually picked up said ingredient .. top notch guest service! We cannot wait to go back and try their lunch menu!“

“We were so incredibly pleased with our stop at this location. We called in advance as we were showing up close to closing time from a road trip, and they were kind enough to be kind about it and accept us.

When we were having trouble ordering, instead of upselling us, Diane was honest enough to suggest a single combo upgrade so my wife and I could share and save us that cash. Although it was more than clear we were pressed for time, Diane never made us feel unwelcome or burdensome. She was professional and kind throughout our multiple interactions.

The food arrived promptly, and was very delicious. We got the roast beef dinner, which tasted so great. I wish the mashed potatoes were a little creamier and the bun not so hard, but everything was great. We finished the food promptly. It's interesting that I read a review that mentioned a watered down drink, because our ginger ale did taste a bit watery.

When our meal was still not done past closing, we were again not made to feel burdensome, unwelcome, or uncomfortable. I believe there were two managers at the back that we thanked and gave good feedback to and now this positive review! We actually hadn't been to Swiss Chalet in a very long time, and this has been a pleasant and welcome surprise, and maybe we'll start visiting more often closer to home“

“I came to the Farmhouse Restaurant for a wedding and it was a lovely and intimate venue with a great b and b upstairs for the bridal party to stay in. The appetizers were delicious and I was hopeful for the meal but my chicken avocado sandwich was a bit dry - asked for extra mayo to help with that. The fries were good, as was the salad, and the chocolate pecan torte was AMAZING! The waitstaff were lovely, so professional, and friendly. Overall, a good experience and a perfect venue for a small wedding!“

“Zach was a fabulous server. He kept a very hard order of 20 people all paying different bills at different tables perfectly straight! 20 people in 8 bills all spread out, Amazing! My family came here after my niece's wedding. 20 of us and we all had amazing meals drinks and good times. Always love this place!!!“

The atmosphere is great here. Each booth has reasonable privacy. I highly recommend this place. The price are very fair and comparable and the food is very good.“

“A great sports bar to visit if you are in the area! I found the prices to be a bit higher than other sports bars, but I feel it is a fair price for the quality of the food, the atmosphere and the service. They also have live music on Saturday nights.

I definitely recommend the spicy pizza garlic bread appetizer, which was delicious!“
