Ice Cream Shops near Barrie

“A real Canadian ice cream shop - they have 3 large fridges of up to 20+ ice cream flavors and they let you taste. The ice cream isn’t too sweet and has a nice thick texture to it. Not too dense, just the taste of milk and authentic dairy. Love their maple syrup biscuit and mocha flavors.“

“We pretty much go this place twice a month for after dinner ice creams. Ice creams are good flavour. Service is ok, most of the time staff doesn’t care or not very friendly. No upselling or suggestions and lack of flavour knowledge. But overall good place to end your day to have ice cream.“

“Love there chicken solvolki and rice with lots of there sweet sauce they alway give me lots of rice as i dont order anything other then chicken but i love it and always have left overs to bring home there greek pasta salad is pretty good to only had it once but if your ever in the georgian mall food court this is definitely the place to go“

“Burger Royal does have really good food. I will give them that. But their service is terrible. I went in the other day and was told my burger would be 10-15 mins and it took them 28 mins to make just a cheese burger!!! Nothing else!! This isn’t the first time this has happened. This has probably happened 4 or 5 times over the last 7 times I have stopped in. Those are terrible averages. They only had 3 ppl working and they were clearly under staffed for being around dinner time. Not to mention there was no fifth gear they were all stuck in first gear. No hustle, just dragging their feet. It was sad to watch how slow they were for how busy they were. It was painful to watch. They clearly don’t care about customer service. I feel like when ever I decide to give them another shot its the same disappointment. Burger Royal is making it much easier to not go there even though they have good food, they really lack in the service part. Great food is nothing without proper and professional service!! I hope they can get their act together!“

“My blizzard is always made to perfection. I only wish they had a drive-thru but location is too small for one. FYI, I gave the Dairy Queen in ANGUS a bad review because their food lately has not been good. A couple of weeks ago, the blizzard I ordered tasted like stale ice cream with rancid chocolate. I complained and my review was blocked on Facebook.“

We had a pretty big order and when i got home everything was correct.
