“1-Follow up on reservations for my party by the restaurant hours ahead-and seating location was as requested.Notified we had two for service that day -Catt /Makayla .2-Informed both-we were catching up our once a month chit/chat and they informed us of the menus - etc —choices were made on our part with both of them checking on our various selections and keeping things flowing all the time.-questions of changing salad dressings with our selections-just one of the changes after that a few more but never gave the suggestion to us that it was any problem.-Several times we were asked how are things going-was there any thing we did not have or do we wish to change anything that was just not what we thought we were Ordering from the menus. “I need to recognize one of your servers for going above and beyond the call of duty. I took my 91 year old mother for lunch at Kelsey’s. Mom has mobility issues and is very unsteady on her feet. As we walked through the door, we were greeted by Sam. I asked Sam if she would mind getting my Mom to a table while I went out to park my van. Sam, to my surprise, took my mother’s hand and politely escorted her to a table.

In my humble opinion, Sam has a wonderful heart. Listening to her talk to the other patrons, you can tell she is honestly listening to them and she shows a genuine interest in people.

I have worked in customer service for 45 years, and, I can honestly say that I have only met a handful of servers who go the extra mile like Sam did. What a wonderful person!!“

“Stopped into the newly renovated Jack Astor’s and Freida’s Beverage Kitchen in Barrie recently. I work with n Barrie once a month and have often visited this location. I was surprised by all the exciting new changes. My wonderful server Jessica explains all about the new menu and was ready to make suggestions seeing as she knows I’m a creature of habit! Loved the shareable plates and was excited to see such a neat drink menu. Jessica helped me pick out some new dishes to try and did not steer me wrong (she knows I’m fussy)! Really enjoyed my experience in the newly renovated location. As always fantastic service by Jessica and Jacks! Well done guys!“

“This place has such a cool vibe to it. Coffee is great along with the sweet and savoury items available. I had the browned butter Rice Krispie square- can you say yummy? “went to Sakana house location at Big Bay Point with a group of 8 yesterday (Feb3), about 40 minutes into receiving our food, different individuals from our table start finding hair in the food while grabbing it straight from each platter. the first time a hair is found we mention it to the staff and just put aside the food that has a 10" hair in it. then it continues, long hairs, short hairs, black hair, brown hair, etc. each time we show the staff they take it away. after 5 times in a row we stop eating and decide we want to go. we ask to speak to the manager. no manager comes to us. a staff by the name of "Na Na" decides to say she was sorry, but everyone wears hair nets and it's busy...... we walk to the area where staff makes and preps food, not one person is wearing hair nets...... I again ask for a manager to which no one never comes. she then says she'd give us a discount on each bill for the trouble. I paying for 3, with a bill of $134 got a $10 discount for hairy food and we went elsewhere because we were still hungry at we were not there for long..... the table behind us found hair in their food as well, in their first plate. they left right away..... So If you want hairy sushi at full price, go here. I will be calling Food Safety and complaining about this location as well. 0/5 rating!!“

“Walking along Wellington Plaza, I noticed a sign in a window advertising samosas. Since I hadn’t had one in a while, I figured I’d go in and give them a try. I was surprised not to see the usual samosas sitting in a warming oven. When I ordered, the very nice person at the counter asked me to wait a few minutes. I assumed he was just going to grab some from the back. Five minutes later, he came out with samosas fresh from the fryer. If you’ve never had freshly made samosas, you have to try Honest Restaurant. The pastry was incredibly crunchy and flaky — nothing like the ones that have been sitting in a warmer for hours — and even the filling was hot all the way through.“

“The truth is manager would hook up with girls in his office stealing moneny from at louis and allowing his bartenders to to coke in the bathroom and god knows what else all the pools competitive poola and so forth are botched and have determined winners like old regulars that have put forth money into the estqblishment almoat all of the regulars drink and drive and will go further to say ive wqrched guys come out of restroom and id go in and find abunch of coke on the bathroom table there , bartenders getting into regulars cara to take shots of alcohal and indisend exposure by older woman with the age to be someone granny.
