“We found this quaint patio restaurant when we traveled for camping. We now drive from Bobcaygeon to enjoy the food and patio..you must try tge seafood chowder or their amazing other treats. Service is perfect”

“Called to order a medium pepperoni and two crazy breads. They say "ok, it will be about 10 minutes"30 seconds later I get a call-back saying the order's ready for pickup, and that they close in ten minutes.I get there five minutes later, and they give me the crazy bread with no pizza. And claim I never ordered pizza..? I definitely did, and the guy even read my order back to me before hanging up the first time. Definitely got the order.I understand that it was ten minutes to close and that nobody wants to make a pizza ten minutes to close, but... tell me that? Don't just say it will be ready and then surprise me with no pizza at the door?I ended up having to order pizza next door and wait another 20 minutes. I would have happily just ordered next door in the first place if I knew it was going to be an issue.Again, I really do get that nobody wants to stay late to make a pizza. But just tell us that. Don't try to claim there was never an order. Gaslighting customers isn't great business practice imo.All and all, this was a one time issue. I've have good, fast & friendly service every other time. Just bad circumstances in this case.”

“Visited the same day as the Apple Festival. Even though it was extremely busy due to the festival traffic, but the haddock fish and chips meal was wonderful. Fish was crispy, lightly battered and not oily. The chips were cut perfectly and not overly fried. The owners are hands on and worked non-stop for the customers. The price was lower than the other fish and chips meal in other restaurants. Definitely worth a re-visit.”

“Every year, when I seasonally return to the Brighton Area, one of my first orders of business is to order takeout from China King. It's basically what you want and expect from Canadian Chinese takeout. All of the favourites: Spare Ribs, Chicken Balls, General Tao Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Chicken Fried Rice, Shrimp and Mushrooms, Chicken Lo Mein, Egg Rolls... Even the sweet and sour sauce is a perfect shade bright fluorescent orange! Anyone who rated this place less than 5 stars is just too fancy and probably shouldn't be ordering takeout anyway.”

“I stop at this McDonald’s every Saturday as part of my weekly trip home. It is rarely too busy and the service today was especially exceptional. Ryan helped me and he was fantastic. Kind, customer centred, and very humble. I made an error with my order and he politely clarified it for me without hesitation. He served me, wished me a good day, and went right back to cleaning. It is great to see hardworking staff who still take pride in their work and take the time to create a positive customer experience. Food is always warm, though I do wish the coffee was a little hotter!”

“This Tim Hortons location is consistently efficient and well-organized — I rarely have to wait for my order. The employees are always friendly and provide great service. The store manager, Vanessa, is pleasant to speak with, and it’s clear she fosters a positive work environment. I often hear her encouraging her staff, which is refreshing to see, especially compared to other places where management can speak down to staff. Brighton Tim Hortons is by far my most favourite place to grab my coffees!!!”

“We’ve had Pizza Depot a few times now, and we have loved it each time. Still great heated up the next day too. Yesterday we tried their wings. They are delicious! Lots of different choices of sauce. Their staff is friendly and pleasant to deal with. Pizza Depot is definitely our go to for pizza and wings now!”

“Mom and I went to the Golden Valley Restaurant for breakfast. They started serving it in October. The food was delicious! They gave lots of perfectly cook bacon with our eggs and their tomato slices were the size of soft balls. We each had two cups of coffee because it was that good and when we got the bill we were surprised to see how affordable it was. I love the retro decor too. Perfect place to sit, relax and enjoy and great meal. I loved it.”

The worst deep fried wonton is in Springfield, Missouri but that is for another time. This is the best fried wonton ever. I don’t know where they get their wraps but the wrap and the filling are perfect. I have eaten in hundreds of Asian restaurants. This is the best deep fried wonton in North America.”

“The Timmies Drive-Thru at the Ultramar on County Rd 33 has the best crew in all of Trenton! I'm surprised by the odd negative review I see here, but let me assure you... Those are the very rare exceptions, not the rule.
Lori, the Manager, and her core team of ladies never fail to give efficient, fast and friendly service day in and day out. And the newer staff have that same passion for great customer service.
I know this to be true because I am a frequent customer to this location, having stopped there at least twice a week, every week for the last two years. That's over 200 trips through their Drive-Thru! And in all of those visits, they only got my drink wrong one time. ONE TIME out of 200! And when I brought it back to their counter, they happily exchanged it for me. That is not an easy standard of excellence to achieve!
Did I mention they are also fast? Even with a super long line of cars, you'll be getting your coffee and breakfast sandwich at their window in hardly any time at all.
Plus they get the vanilla dip donuts right! Lol! Can't say that for every location.
So make it a one stop shop. Get your gas, your scratch tickets and your coffee all in one place... The Timmies Ultramar! 😁”

“Early November, this Tim's had several holiday gifts. Prices are a bit high but typical for gifts like this everywhere. Service was not bad, they were fairly busy, more staff working drivethrew than counter. The new Biscoff cookie ice cap is amazing.”
