“A good ol' public house with the food you would expect from one. Lots of typical British style cooked to perfection and a good selection of alcohols. Lovely atmosphere both indoors and on the patio, and friendly staff. Would love to give this place 5 stars, but our tables fries were overcooked and hard to get through, but genuinely enjoyed everything else. Got the featured club sandwich (grilled chicken, portebello mushrooms, roasted red peppers, melted brie, lettuce and tomato) and it was incredible. Will definitely be returning next time we're in the city“

“I really love the atmosphere of the restaurant. I came for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Even better, the prices were quite reasonable for the quality. What stood out to me was the overall vibe. Despite a few people enjoying drinks at the bar, the noise level was very manageable and didn’t disrupt the calm ambience I prefer when dining. I appreciated being able to enjoy my meal on the quieter side of the restaurant. The crowd seems to be mostly travelers staying at the hotel which added to the relax and professional feel of the place.“

“After being seated, there was a bit of a wait before a server came to our table, but once service began, everything went smoothly. Overall, the food was enjoyable and well prepared. While the fries were not my favourite, everything else on the menu was very good. The spinach and cheese dip especially stood out and was a highlight of the meal. “Chicken wings are the best! Good deals on mini-pitchers….. TVs and viewing experience are not to the level of QBs in Burlington and the friendliness of the waitresses left a lot to be desired. We had 5 people for 2 full football games + Leafs and it was almost like we were bothering them for service.“
