“We dinned on the dog friendly patio where not only did we have great service and food, but our dog also was created with a drink of Georgian bay tap water and her own meal consisting of carrots, beef patty and smoked fish skin. Over all this was friendly, clean environment with great food portions of fresh food as-well as service with lots of smiles!“

“So I ordered the Eggs Benedict — and while it was missing just a little flavor (maybe a touch more sass in the hollandaise), it was still delicious. My taste buds did a polite golf clap instead of a full standing ovation, but I’d still eat it again any day ending in “Y.”

My wife had the brioche breakfast sandwich, and holy carb heaven — that thing was so good I briefly considered proposing to it. Soft, buttery, perfectly balanced… the kind of sandwich that makes you question your marriage choices for a second.

Our waitress was an absolute rockstar — friendly, funny, and probably the only reason I didn’t lick the plate (in public, anyway).

Four stars because if the Benedict had a little more oomph, I’d still be there writing this review from a food-induced trance.“

I went at 7pm and there was hardly any queue, but I know from walking past it does get very busy at times.

“Big fat indulgent gourmet cookies! Before buying, I was a bit concerned about the sweetness level because there were some previous comments about the cookies being too sweet or not sweet enough. I'm happy to say that it was perfect for me. It's less sweet that the typical cookies from a supermarket. But it's not so low in sugars that it's diabetic friendly.“

“A very nice and cozy place. It had a huge menu of coffees. Just about anything you could think of, both hot and iced. Lots of sandwiches and sweets as well. I got an iced caramel macchiato for about $7. Decently big cup and excellent flavor. The place is very small but completely empty at 5pm on a Friday. There are a couple tables, comfy chairs, and some older tasteful music playing, as well as fast free wifi. It's connected to the other shops in the building, and they'll bring you your drink wherever you go. I only had to wait a minute or two for my drink. The staff was very polite and the place had an overall safe and welcoming environment. Would recommend to anyone looking for a pricey drink and a moment alone.“

“Wonderful, inclusive folks! Very nice staff, who were very helpful. This may seem like an odd thing to say, but it was really great that they made sure they rented an accessible portable washroom for their large market event. As I was sporting crutches (I recently broke my ankle), it was a total life saver that I didn’t need to take the stairs! Not sure if the port-a-potty is an “always” thing, but just the fact that they had it for their street market when so many folks wouldn’t even think of it made me grateful. Thank you for being the loveliest hosts! I’m not a coffee or tea drinker, but I’ll certainly tell all my friends about how kind the staff were!“

“Absolutely incredible! A real diamond in the rough. This place is welcoming, friendly, comfortable, everyone seems like they’re family when they come in. They’re even dog friendly! I really can’t say enough amazing things about this place. It is going to quickly become my go to place in the area. Cozy up I. Not as impressed with the tiramisu, which was an odd kind of foamy/gelatiny something. And they really need to get a handle on the amount of plastic waste - even the plastic forks were wrapped in plastic; each cake slice wrapped in plastic; plastic plastic plastic. At least find something biodegradable, there's things on the market now! I would definitely go again but I'd bring my own mug and fork.“

“I was so excited about this restaurant coming to my neighborhood as we'd often go to their Somerset location. The vibes and service there were awesome. I come to the Westboro location often living close by and they have 3 veggie options, all of which are delicious.

The atmosphere needs improvement. The seating isn't very comfortable. Not sure if adding cushions would help, but I'd start there. And none of the tables seem even. I think this place has a lot of potential but needs a little TLC.“

The inside is usually pretty full when I've been and it's a bit dark inside but has a unique atmosphere since it's in an old industrial kind of building. They also have a few outdoor tables which is nice. I've always walked or biked here but there is street parking and a small parking lot too.“

“From Toronto but this place is much better than Cypress Garden; likely the best chinese I’ve had in Ottawa. Great portions and the fried rice was actually amazing I was shocked, wings were great too. Only thing I wouldn’t get again was the General Tso Chicken bc it was not crispy. Amazing fried rice“

“This cafe is a hidden gem in Ottawa! The smash burger was delicious and juicy plus they had a great selection of beverages and snacks. Great place to grab & go or to sit down for a while and do some work. I would recommend as a great place for working + to grab a bite to eat ! They also have art from local artist which is a nice touch.“
