“Years ago I would have gave this restaurant a horrible review, but not anymore. Since covid that allowed them to expand their dining outside, and all the work the new owner has done to improve the place overall. Staff is absolutely great, we came here more times then I can count this summer, most times without reservations, and hardly every had a problem with getting a table. Food and friendly service was always great, only complaint was some of the pricing on the wine, just make sure you ask how much a glass is before you just blindly order it.“

We just had dinner this evening at Qaisar's restaurant and everything on my plate tasted both unique and delicious, way beyond what you would find in the usual restaurants. Each dish had exceptional flavor that really impressed me. In addition to the incredible quality of the food, the service was equally impeccable. It would be nice if they would put more emphasis on the pirate yarrrr stuff. By that, I mean, don't pirate your fries from Costco! ;P If they tune up their recipe a bit, I think they could raise up the bar by a lot. Just be a bit more fancy please as I would like to return!“

“Amazing food and service. The stir fry chicken udon had amazing flavours and the chicken itself was cooked to perfection. The Hunan spicy beef was to die for and was so tender and delicious. I must also mention how amazing and cordial the service was from the waiter, Eric. We had many questions regarding the dishes before ordering and he helped us each step of the way. We will definitely come back when we visit ottawa again. Please open a location in montreal!“

“The food is SO good here. I’m really picky with plantains but theirs are not dry nor are they greasy. The chicken is incredible, the perfect amount of spices and the owner offered to adjust the heat to my liking.

They used to be located in Orleans and closed and I was so bummed ! Then a few weeks ago saw the sign while driving on Montreal road and wondered if it was the same place. Went in tonight and asked the owner if it was the same restaurant and he said yes ! I was so happy !

“Terrific sushi. Delicious appetizers. I have had all ranges of sushi from cheap student takeout to high end and this place is really great. Quick, traditional style service, they have their own culinary style but quality or atmosphere is not compromised. My husband says it is the best sushi he’s ever had. Support this lovely family restaurant.

Vegetarian options: Clearly marked veggie options. Make sure you tell them you want veg so you don’t get bonito flakes!

No shortcuts are taken here. Would return in a heartbeat! Bouillabaisse was fantastic and loaded with seafood. Broth was excellent. Beef tips were the best I have had on real mashed potatoes and a rich, perfectly seasoned gravy. More like a meal than an appetizer! Last gold star goes to the Raspberry white chocolate bread pudding with creme anglaise and fresh fruit. Crispy on the top and soft on the inside. Perfect balance of flavours again. Great selection of wines by the glass as well. Bravo!“
