“Stopped in to see how it is with the new owners. Was greeted by a friendly staff. The burgers served are delicious and sourced from The Harriston Meat Packing Company (another local gem). Good variety of ice cream flavours as well. Happy to support the new and improved Clifford Snack Shack and wish them all the best going foreword.”

“Absolutely Delicious. I enjoy everything. The Chocolate cream cheese coconut cupcakes are amazing as well as the Nanaimo Bars . The cherry pastry was so amazing and smelled delicious while eating . Cupcakes were moist and the icing so flavourful from the raspberry to the Oreo sprinkle . Then the raspberry coconut tarts delicious and fresh , perfect size as well. Extremely happy with everything I tried and can’t wait to go back.”

“Small Town Pizza is usually our go to! we’ve always loved it. Unfortunately, we’ve recently had two separate experiences that were really disappointing.

The first time, one of our pizzas tasted strongly like cleaner. I can only assume the table or surface the dough was prepared on had just been cleaned, but the taste was so strong and gross.

We decided to give it another try, and unfortunately, the second time there was a black hair, about 2–3 inches long, baked right into the pizza dough.”

“food was good but the waitress we had was very rude...when it came to paying she told us that tips were not in the peice so we would have to punch in the tip for her and she hovered over us as we were using the debit machine and got very upset when i punched in no tip....sorry but im not giving anybody a tip if your going to rudely ask for a tip and look over my shoulder as im using the machine....not going back there...ill go across the street to Harley's”

“Butter chicken pizza was delicious! The whole family enjoyed it. I wish there was at least one table/chair set for a family traveling so they can eat in peace. It was cold summer day, so we had to eat in our car, but it's not a deal breaker. The pizza was worth it.”

“We’ve been visiting the Cedar Rail for over 20 years; whenever we’re heading to/from Southampton. It was super busy when we were there the other day. Still, service with a smile. The footlongs were their usual good quality on fresh buns. The fries were particularly good and piping hot. The Cedar Rail has been in operation for 60 years but under new management for the past few. They’re doing a great job. Washroom was clean, btw. It’s like stepping back in time when we visit…in a good way!”

“Stopped at Subway in Palmerston and had a good experience. I ordered the Chicken Bacon Rancher and it was made well, with fresh ingredients and good portions.

The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly, and the service was quick. It’s also a convenient location with lots of parking, and there’s a gas station right beside it, which makes it an easy stop when you’re on the road.

Would stop in again.”

I would recommend Palmerston Timmies! Have some patience and it will go along way with customer service! Be happy these teens aren’t running the streets causing trouble and instead trying to learn to make money and survive in this very impatient society! Keep up the great work Palmerston!! 😁”
