“Renovations are nicely done, motivated and polite staff and neighborhood changes are only things that could help push the atmosphere a little higher but that's not on them, that's a time will adjust naturally issue that mostly only affects certain seasons or times of day anyways“

This isn't my story but the real estate tanked? Because why gather all your wealth in a wealthy place?

“I love this store the lady at the window I think her name is Lois she is so sweet and kind and she takes her time marking sure everything is perfect and making sure I have a great day and she talks kindly even when her day is bad and the lady named Mel she is so sweet and kind and April is so kind and so lovely and sweet even if she is having the worst day and they Are under staff she still asks how your day is I think those three lady’s are the best“

“This really was my favorite drive thru experience. The order taker was patient and suggested my favorite items with my meal and she was very friendly. The woman who handed me my food smiled and so did some of the other staff in the back!!! What a great day, thank you Tim Hortons!!!

“Quick little family joke to start: about 20 years ago I loved this McDonald’s so much I almost named my daughter Filiea, Until the doctor realized our last name is Fish and kindly talked us out of it. True story.

Jokes aside, the McDonald’s on 1st Street in Collingwood has become so much more than a place to grab coffee for our family. My dad has been coming here twice a day for well over a decade, and over the years the staff have truly become part of our extended family.

They remember people. They remember orders. And they always greet my dad with genuine warmth. When life has been heavy, walking in there still brings a sense of comfort. Seeing him walk through the doors in the morning and the smiles from the team who know him so well is something really special.

It’s a busy place, but the staff always take that extra moment to make people feel welcome. That care and consistency shows throughout the whole team.

We’re incredibly grateful for the kindness and connection they’ve shown my dad over the years. For us, it’s more than a McDonald’s, it’s a little piece of community and routine. ❤️“
