The service at the front is always warm and friendly, especially the Dari-speaking girls on weekends.
Their chapli kebab is hands down the best in the city so juicy, flavorful, and perfectly spiced.
And don’t skip the ice cream it’s definitely worth a trip all on its own!“

“The food portion compared to the price is relatively fair . The service is good . Just they need to increase their lighting in the store , adding Tv to the wall browsing the video clip that they had it on .it should be audio and video . It was a good experience.“

I’ve been a Bamiyan Kabob customer for over 20 years! I used to visit the Mississauga Dixie Road location every week, then the North York (Keele) location — and ever since the Maple location opened, it has been my go-to spot.

Today (October 6, 2025, around 1:30–2:00 PM), I had another fantastic experience at the Maple branch. The cashier Ana and the cook Uzair provided absolutely excellent customer service. They’ve both been working there for a long time, and every time I see them, it truly makes me happy — they always greet customers with kindness, professionalism, and a smile.

Also, a big shoutout to the gentleman making the naan — he’s been there for years and always does an amazing job. His naan is fresh, soft, and perfect every single time.

These three people — Ana, Uzair, and the naan maker — make the Maple Bamiyan Kabob location feel like home. Their service, friendliness, and consistency are beyond words.

“After going to their yonge and weldrick location for many many years, I happened to be in north Richmond hill (yonge and king road) and saw this other location! What can I say, very friendly welcoming service, clean organized interior and very fresh quality meat. Prices are average compared to the other 500+ kabob restaurants in this area but Taftan seems to stand out simply because of their reputation and large portion sizes. Today I got the barg (filet mignon beef) combo with rice and a side order of a chicken leg skewer. And hey they even threw in free cans of pop, lots of butter packets for the rice, packets of sumac (that tangy but distinct middle eastern red spice), and a pita bread! I’ll be sure to return again.“
