“My husband picked thus place when I suggested Greek for lunch. I ordered the chicken souvlaki in a pita and he ordered the pork gyros in a bowl with rice. The souvlaki was amazing. Moisr, tender chicken, your choice of topping and delicious tzatziki. my husband's bowl was delicious and such a big serving that he couldn't finish it. The staff were friendly and it was a pretty good deal for the food. We will be back again to try some more of your delicious food.“

Everyone was very attentive and Tommy even took the time to give us some advice regarding visiting Greece! The entertainment was the topper and a lovely finish to a wonderful time! “We came here to catch up with a friend, and brought my wife and our toddler along for dinner. Overall, it was a lovely experience, though our toddler’s energy meant we had to take turns stepping outside with him!

The food was fantastic and came out quickly. For appetizers, we ordered Greek fries, kalamarakia, and the saganaki Opa!—which was a fun show with the little flame. All of the appetizers were flavorful and satisfying.

For my main, I went with the roast lamb, which came with roasted potatoes, vegetables, and a Greek salad. The lamb was tender and packed with flavor, though I would have liked the potatoes to have been a bit crispier on the outside. The veggie portion felt a little light, especially for a $35 plate, but the Greek salad on the side helped balance it out.

Overall, it was a great meal, and we definitely enjoyed the flavors and atmosphere. Highly recommend for a laid-back, flavorful Greek dinner on the Danforth!“

A giant slab of pork shank is the protein hit I need after walking to this restaurant. A deep, colourful sear brings a delicious Maillard flavour that coats moist and tender meat fibres. The roasted potatoes also get the same treatment and will make you appreciate the invention of grilling.“

Mr. Greek is good, but Danny Greek Grill Express is incredible and the portions are so generous, the staff are wonderful and so pleasant to deal with and extremely hospitable. They make you feel welcome the minute you walk into the restaurant.

No wait times and were directed to our window table. We ordered several dishes from the menu. We got Pork / chicken skewers that come with choice of salads & potatoes. Food arrived quick. We selected greek salad. It had generous amount of feta cheese. Potato fries are ordered with feta cheese or plain. Skewers arrived after. All are in great portions, delicious, very filling, satisfying, and reasonably priced. Staffs checks frequently for anything needed. In the end, we were provided with sturdy take-out containers and paper bags. Overall service, meals, and experience were beyond expectation. We will definitely return again.“
