“East Gwillimbury’s Firehouse Subs has become one of my go-to spots. The sandwiches are always fresh, loaded with quality ingredients, and served hot. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the service is consistently excellent.

I especially appreciate that they don’t skimp on the meat or toppings, and there are plenty of great options on the menu. Whether I’m grabbing a quick lunch or taking food home, the experience is always top-notch.

“I was here tonight. There was a young woman working the counter. She was very kind and helpful with us. She was all by herself at 7pm working on countless subs with a long line. This is not a complaint, I commend her! During all this rush, she got screamed at and recorded by 2 completely irrational women who were upset that they didn’t notice they got their veggies on wrong kind of bread (the end of the world as we know it!). She kept her head and her composure and I feel so badly for her. Treat your service workers KINDLY. They are human too. Not punching bags. It is never so serious for you to blatantly harass and scream a person for just following
rules set by management. If you don’t like it? Don’t go back! Food was subway. Always tastes just as you want it. No complaints.“

Bobby was so friendly, quick and pays attention to detail. He really does care about what he does and keep the customers happy. This place is very very lucky to have someone like that here. This is someone that will just skyrocket this place even more!

“To be honest I’ve never been in the store. One of my brothers lives close by and anytime he comes to visit on a Sunday I have to get him to stop into this location for 2 spicy chicken subs.
The quality and care that the young lady puts into making them is impressive and far superior to any other location.
She even wraps tomatoes and puts the bbq in a container so the 2nd sub I have the next day is a fresh as the first !
By far the best subs I’ve ever had in my 50 young years.

The first thing you notice is how spotlessly clean everything is, which is so important for a sandwich shop. I would appreciate Henil too. “I just pulled up to this spot for a late-night pickup, and what I saw blew my mind. There were like 6 people ahead of me, and I’m thinking, “Aight, this gonna take a minute.” But nah — this dude behind the counter (tattoos on his left arm, you’ll know who I’m talkin’ about) went full beast mode. I’m talkin’ sub-speed legend status.
It was around 10PM, so he’d clearly been grinding all day, but the energy? Still on point. He was slicing, stacking, wrapping — all while keeping it cool as hell. No stress, no slowdown, just pure efficiency. He handled the whole line in what felt like seconds. I’ve never seen a sandwich artist move like that. Other places move like they’re in slow motion compared to him.
Respect to this guy — not only is he fast, he’s chill, professional, and clearly takes pride in the hustle. This is exactly the kind of energy that makes a spot worth coming back to. I don’t even care what’s on the menu anymore — if he’s making it, I’m ordering it.

“I got a frozen yogurt and it was amazing, I would say better than any place froyo is hard to find now. My friend gobbled a pita and she said it was absolutely fantastic. These two workers were so sweet and patient making my meal just as I wanted.“

“Country Style is soon hard to find physical locations. I am so happy we still have one in Bradford. The rest are attached to gas stations. It's really nice to sit in and eat.
Highly recommend their Cherry donut. You won't find it anywhere else in town.“

“Subway is something we can ALL agree on for lunch or dinner. There's something for everyone and it's so much better for you. I have been shocked at how much it cost for McDonald's lately. You can feed your family for less at Subway and know that it's much better for us. I'm writing this review as an endorsement for Subway, but I'm also just stating the facts as I see them.“
