“Such a great spot for a nice family dinner. Food was incredible, service was great, loved the decor/design of the place. It was a little expensive but worth it for the experience and quality of the food. Would happily go back for another falafel app and risotto!“

“A good friend from Montreal, was in Toronto today, and an acquaintance who we haven't seen for some time, and Bill and I met for a late lunch at the 'House on Parliament', (454 Parliament St. - west side of the St., south of Carlton St.). Someone recommended to us and it was our first visit there. The staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was great, the food (great menu) was delicious, and the prices were fair! I had the 'Vodka cured smoked salmon' with fresh basil cream cheese, capers, cucumber, red onion confit and crostini. Very fresh and very tasty. The others also really enjoyed their meal too. If you're ever in the vicinity, I would highly recommend going there. Check out their page on fb to see some great pics of the food they serve. We will definitely go back there...“

“Great place for late night drinks or brunch! I love the new buck a shuck deal upstairs in their oyster house, and they have such delicious food offerings up there as well. Will be back!“

“The food at Firkin on Yonge is very very good. The server was great. Recommended the best menu items and she was very pleasant. The restaurant itself is pretty cool. Decorated with a British theme - Beatles, Sex Pistols, even Monty Python. This may have been a one-off but the only negative was that our food took close to an hour to get to us. And we were there at noon, when it opened, it was not busy at all. But overall, highly recommend this place. Good prices as well considering it is downtown Toronto.“

“Not only the best place to eat in the neighbourhood; one of the best in all of Toronto. Always imaginative additions to the menu. Great service.“

“Was in Toronto for work, came across the Churchmouse — simply outstanding. Amazing environment, fantastic staff (big shout out to MacKenzie for being so lovely), and surprising (no offence, but expectations were low) the menu was excellent! This is a must hit for anyone in Toronto who wants a chill, friendly, and simply great place.“

“Atmosphere and staff were great. Food was terrible and tasteless. Potatoes were ice cold, fish dried out and vegetables over cooked. Many years ago ( when it was licsyed near the front of the mall) my family & I use to eat there frequently and the food was delicious.“

“This really feels like one of the few authentic fish and chips spots in Toronto. The freshly fried fish was absolutely top-notch — super crispy and full of flavor. I ordered mine with a salad instead of fries, and personally, I found it much lighter and even more enjoyable that way. The crispiness was seriously next level!“
