“I was craving a hot chiki sando and I’m glad I stumbled upon this gem.

The sando was perfect, good brioche bun, chicken breast was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. It was a dry rub so the sandwich could have used a sauce of some kind. I added some ketchup and it was fine. The fries were very good! Priced fairly and you can tell the chef takes pride in constructing the sandwiches….overall, the plate was delicious and I highly recommend visiting and dining in for the best experience since fried food doesnt do well with Ubers /long distance travel.

I would say, there is some room for improvement…particularly on the drink side - drinks are small cans and you feel like you may need more than 1 can. So larger cans or a dispenser would be nice.

They serve beer but it’s limited in terms of options, I think some fruity or ginger beers would pair nicely. If the drinks were house made, think lemonade / iced tea or something like that - this place could be on the GOAT level“

“Aug 21, 2025, Ordered breakfast and forgot to use my app to collect points. The young lady gave me an option to collect the points even after I paid, but I declined. She tried to convince me that it would only take a couple of minutes, eventually she persisted and convince me saying she only wanted to help. I gave in, It worked out fine. This young lady never gave up, now there is someone who just improved your customer relations by 100%. A 5 star employee.“

“The Best Ham Sandwich. Recently I had to drive down to Montreal to help a family member. I didn't want to stop along the way so I stopped at Ma Maison to stock up on food for the road. I bought a ham sandwich and some wonderful pastries. I think it may have been the best ham sandwich I ever had. The bread was both crispy and soft. The ham, that perfect mix of salty and sweet, the lettuce and tomato and mustard just made it amazing. When I trained as a chef, the chef who trained me said "Do the simple things with care and attention, this will let people know the quality of your work." “1st time there. While sitting at the bar before reservation was great. They were very intention and kept checking in. Once seated at our reservation time, it was a bit before easier came to ask if we needed a drink or ready to order. Once he arrived he was great. When the meal came, one of the sides was cold. “A wonderful little place serving a delicious well priced breakfast. The service is friendly and many people frequent it and are regulars, we noticed the lady serving folks often referring to people by their first name, joking around and giving that at home feeling. I unfortunately had a medical emergency while there and the staff was extremely kind and helpful, will soon be back for breakfast and to thank them for helping me during my difficulties. Nothing but great things to say about this place!“

My Husband had the steak enchilada plate & I had the steak (carne asada) burrito. We also ordered a side of Beast Fries & 2 donuts. Oh my goodness!
We obviously had to try each others food, and yes, the enchilada & burrito were so flavorful and perfect in all the right ways. The tortilla, the steak, beans, rice, cheese, the spice level- everything came together like the most beautiful symphony!
The fries were superb as well, although we could only take a few bites since we were so full already.
We took the donuts (sour cream & strawberry filled) to-go, and those were the perfect sweet treats!

“I don't even know where to start the pizza was just like Pakistani style pizza and it was SO good that I literally had to stop and ask if they were on DoorDash or any other food delivery app. That's how good it was! I needed to know I could get this again without leaving my house. Haha

“My husband and I were in town for the Blue Jays game to see our friends. We couldn't get tickets for the Jays game, so they recommended that we visit the Bull on Bloor in Etobicoke. This was Game 7! Do or die! We were all adorned in Jays' paraphernalia and arrived early to get seated before it got crowded. There were already many Jays fans sitting along the tables. We sat down at the bar and were greeted by a beautiful and friendly bartender, Deja. She asked us how we are. We told her we were from out of town. She knew our friends very well, and she raced around the bar to give them a huge hug. She hugged us, too! We ordered a couple of Blue Jay beer specials, and we got very comfortable. Deja was interested in where we were from and if we had family. We have two grown kids who are away at school. She showed us a picture of her adorable 3-year-old daughter. She loves her so much, and you could see she was a great mom! It started getting busier as it was closer to game time, and at this point, there was only standing room. She had two barbacks help her get the orders in. The game was on, and it was getting louder and louder as people were cheering for our JAYS! It was complete madness with so many people that you couldn't breathe. But the environment was so energetic and fun, we didn't care. We could see how busy Deja was, yet she attended to everyone's orders and never missed a beat in a professional and friendly manner. She was truly amazing! I could never handle so many people at once. The night went by, and we all know the undesirable result of the game. The entire room was in shock, and their faces were just drained in disappointment. I felt like the overwhelming sadness was shared in the room, and we all began to console each other. At that point, some discouraged people stayed and drank some more, but we needed to go. Deja thanked us, and she ran around the bar, and we all had a vigorous group hug, knowing it would be okay. We will heal. We gave her a great tip, and she thanked us and asked us to come back again. We definitely will. I highly recommend stopping by the Bull on Bloor! We made great memories and new friends.“

Solid homestyle made food. I have tried their grilled cheese, tuna salad, and cardamom teas all so very good and tasty. The indian style spicy egg roll is also good, might be an acquired taste for some as they are like a dosa or like a burrito style soft roti. Great prices worth an order or try.“

“Best onion rings. Best apple pies. I have been having a craving for them lately. Went through drive through yesterday Jan 22/26 at 8:40pm and the sweetest lady was at drive thru. Needless to say at first I declined sauce when offered, but then she mentioned honey mustard which I love and mentioned it goes well with the onion rings. I can’t believe I never thought to eat it with my onion rings before. There was a to young man who already put the sauce in the bag ready to go even before she had to grab it 🤗 thank you to both and for the great service! I will be coming back for more!“
