“Greek taverna is our family's go to when ordering food. The Greek salad is always fresh and the dressing is so good. However, I must express my disappointment in the Greek salad dressing. For quite awhile the dressing hadn't been consistently good. When I first started going there the dressing was so flavourful that I would drop in to purchase just the dressing. Now we find it being less flavourful if any flavour at all. Again this is not consistent though. We had the salad two weeks ago and were so happy that the dressing taste flavourful as it should be. Tonight we ordered it and no flavour. Not sure what's going on. It almost taste as though more oil is being poured into the dressing I might have have to go elsewhere. So disappointed“

Staff was friendly, service was quick and portion size was amazing.

“We had Crew’s recommended to us and it was delicious. All homemade food and no fries!!! Fresh soup or salad is served with your meals or just have a sandwich. I had the special of Chicken Pot Pie with roasted beet salad. My husband had the smoked meat sandwich and soup which was mushroom, his favourite.
It’s not a big place but the owner is out front and very friendly.
Turns out Crew’s used to be Jessie’s and my husband went there in the 80’s a lot. Had no idea it was still open.
Well, he’s back. He’ll be seeing Crew’s weekly and bringing home lunch. 😁“

“I had to plan a Christmas Gala for approximately 50 people. I decided on a Greek menu as Greek food tends to meet most dietaty needs. I called many locations and i wasn't inpressed with the service I recieved over tge phone or tge pricing. I was ready to change my menu choice. However I decided to call one more location even though it was 25 minutes from my venue.I'm so glad I did. Melina was awesome from start to finish. She guided me on the amount to order and what dishes to add for my guests who are vegetarian. Melina's pleasant, calm, and welcoming disposition won me over. Everyone LOVED the food. Many asked where I ordered the food from. There was enough for people to have seconds. Thank you Melina and family for adding to the success of my gala. I look forward to future business with you.

“Thank you Ali for catering my son's grade 8 grad. It was the easiest process and we were so happy to find halal greek food that actually tastes good! For the price it's reasonable chicken skewers were huge and they provided ample sauces everything packed amazing. Only thing I would advise people is for the portion of meat we got the rice potato and salad was excessive we had full trays left over. Would prefer lower the cost and give less of the extra items. Overall great experience highly recommend“

The portions are very generous. The price is UNBEATABLE !!! I got a chicken souvlaki plate with Greek salad, rice and potato 🥔 plus a chicken souvlaki pita wrap and a huge slice of Bakalava for like $30. This is a super deal !!!

This location has been here for years I was told. So my hats off to them for continuing to service good honest food with a smile 😀.

I love that it was made fresh, not sitting under a heat lamp or something waiting to be bought. The tzatziki was cold and thick, the chicken was juicy and flavourful and the salad was nice and crisp too! Can't forget about the fluffy pita and sweet honey crisps as well. Glad I found this spot. “I dropped in to buy some electronic odds and ends at Sayal and I remembered about this well reviewed Greek restaurant.

The service was ultra friendly and helpful. This always makes the food experience that much more enjoyable. The service gets 5 stars all day long 👍.

The food should get 5 stars 🌟, but I just need to return a few more times to check on the consistency of the food.

The beef 🥩and lamb 🐑 gyro 🥙 and it was crazy delicious 😋. The meat was well marinated and it packed a flavour punch 🥊. The meat was tender and expertly cooked. It was very enjoyable because I went in the late afternoon and other places will serve me dry meat / proteins. But not here. I was pleasantly surprised and like I said the gyro was delicious with fresh tomatoes and sauce.

The Greek salad was tasty and refreshing as well with their homemade vinaigrette and crunchy-fresh vegetables 🥗.

I will return 💯 % to check in their consistency and to try out the souvlaki etc.

I do love supporting a local mom and pop restaurant owned and operated by a hard working entrepreneur cooking up honest home made dishes.
