I recently visited A&W at 806 Niagara Street with my friends, and we had a fantastic dining experience! We tried the Beyond Burger combo, and it was delicious—packed with flavor and a great plant-based option. The fries were crispy, and the root beer, as always, was refreshing. The staff were friendly and the service was quick, even though it was a busy time. Overall, it was a great spot to grab a meal with friends. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!“

“We had a lovely date dinner in this quaint, modern, family-friendly brewery. They were nearly fully reserved; unfortunately, the tables available were not appropriate. When I pointed out I could not sit in the sun or at a high top, they willingly made adjustments. Our hostess, waitress, bussers, and management were all attentive, kind, and generally lovely. The food was wonderful; from the appetizers we enjoyed were Warm Butter Pretzel - BRUSHED WITH BUTTER AND SALTED, PICKLES, GRAINY MUSTARD, HOUSE-BREWED BEER AND CHEESE QUESO SAUCE, and Lobster Dip - LOBSTER MEAT IN A CREAMY DIP, BUBBLY MOZZARELLA WITH WARM PITA. Our mains were Burgers and fries - CLASSIC – CHEDDAR, LETTUCE, ONION, PICKLE, GARLIC MAYO, as well as the Steak and frites - 10 OZ NY STRIPLOIN, COMPOUND BUTTER, GREMOLATA, SERVED WITH HOUSE-CUT FRIES. Dessert we tried Fruit Cobbler with Ice Cream - FRESH SEASONAL FRUIT TOPPED WITH LIGHT AND CRISPY COBBLER, SERVED WITH LEMON WHIPPED CREAM, and Crème Brûlée - SILKY CUSTARD BOTTOM, SWEET CRUNCHY TOP. The meal was delicious. An excellent experience; my only tweak is I wish the fries had been fresher. The Bridgewater Brewery had such a great environment. Well worth the trip to Welland. We were also informed they had a dog-friendly patio at the rear, making this a must for a return visit for our family. The kitchens were impeccable. Bathroom was ADODA compliant. Ordered a Grandpa Burger with onion rings and a root beer everything came out fresh and well put together.
They paid attention to small details without making it feel forced.

“aug 9. dinner at 630. will not return. 4 orders eat in . 4 different households. 3 of the meals were pretty bad. My 1 piece fish dinner with 2 scoops of mashed potatoes was cold. no butter....no tartar sauce...no cole slaw...no roll.....13.50. for what??. the fish was paper thin...overcooked and very very dry. had to ask for butter for potatoes that wouldn't even melt. 2nd meal ....hot turkey sandwich stone cold. 3rd meal roast beef dinner. cold and the beef looked like thin shoe leather. the 4th meal was the chicken solvaki..suppose to be on a pita...came on a bed of cold fries. so what we have here is 4 different households that won't be back. it's not the price ...its the quality . serving quality hot food should never be a challange. the fish and roast beef was so disgusting you should be ashamed it arrived on a plate and cold. I will not recommend and return“

“The blizzards we got were good. As expected. They didn't have the newest flavours we wanted to try, but went with our usual flavours . This location is more expensive than other dairy queens. They also do not accept coupons or use the app for offers / points . Apparently it's because they are the second oldest dairy queen still standing and to accept the coupons and offers / app they would need to renovated which would take away their name of the second oldest dairy queen.... it doesn't explain the higher pricing but it does kindof make sense they are trying to keep it original so they don't have all of the upgrades ( it is super cute and retro looking). There is free parking and some benches to sit on .“

“This place EASILY has the friendliest service of any fast food place every time we go in there. Last time, dude made us wait a few minutes more cause HE noticed the spring rolls were overcooked and HE made them remake them, then threw some free donuts at us for a extra time. That's only one of many great experiences we've had in there. Appreciate how great their entire staff seems to be.“

“My husband and I were attending to some business in the area and decided to grab a burger prior to leaving for home (it had been a long day).
We stopped in close to 4:30pm and the place was pretty full. There were two staff members working, which I thought was already unusual for that time of day, who were not only attending to us inside but to the drive-through as well.
As there were people around waiting for their meals I thought perhaps some would complain but no one did. Instead, everyone could see how efficiently these two staff members worked together and how pleasant the counter person and the other member, who was entirely focused on their preparations, were that it was actually quite impressive to observe.
In what seemed like no real time at all, we had all been served, given our food, and just like that the rush was over! :)
When my husband and I were finished our food I made it a point to go back to the counter to ask the names of the staff persons there and I want to send a HUGE, HUGE shout-out to Josh and Wes!
You two should be acknowledged for how well you handled that sudden influx of customers by delivering GREAT customer service, delicious, hot food, and for taking such pride in the cleanliness of the restaurant.

I hope the owners get to see this review because you two (Josh and Wes) did a FANTASTIC job at representing them today.

“Friendly staff and tasty treats. Prices are overboard nowadays and certain items come up slightly more expensive than advertised on the sign. Super Smoothie was listed as 9.19 but at the register, it was 9.29. Not a crazy difference but what else could be wrong?“
