“Great spot above the Rinks at Richcraft Sensplex.We had a big charity tournament there this weekend and went upstairs for beers and eats between and after games. The staff was overwhelmed but doing their best. The food took a while but made it to the table hot and tasty. The Deep Fried Pickles were my favourite, but the Pulled Pork Sandwich also deserves a go.I would hope that they try to lay on more staff when there's a big tournament going on next time.“

“We visited BATL for a team building/appreciation event and had a fantastic time! Communication with Pedro and Eric was speedy and supportive. Sean was a fantastic trainer and ran a fabulous tournament for our team! He was super funny and very helpful! We ordered some pizza and they provided us with plates and napkins when it arrived. “Had the chance to try out this place due to a year end team event at work. As a big fan of goat cheese, I ordered the goatee burger and I think this is the best burger I've tried in Ottawa so far. The beef patty is tender and juicy. The chef did a great job. The bread is soft and nice too. Every bite of the burger is addicting. I give it a 4.5/5 overall.“

The staff were friendly and made it feel like we were just hanging out! My only recommendation would be to offer wetnaps when people order wings or sandwiches that will be messy as it was but it was so good. I wanted to have more of my sandwich! ?“

“I have always had a good experience at this La Cage branch. Well served, good food. For my taste it's a little noisy, but that depends on the experience you're looking for. The prices are still good, considering the current prices of restaurants of this type.“

“Pool tables are awesome! $12 an hour and then $0.20 a minute afterwards; what a great system and a great price! The menu items are a bit expensive but they list a great variety of drinks on the menu, especially with shots. Didn't order any food so no comment there. Service was awesome, staff were very approachable and checked in on my group at the perfect times.“

Lots of regulars who are friendly.Only downside to this place is the washrooms are down in the basement which makes it more difficult for people with mobility issues, or lazy people like me.Nice place to go to for a quick beer and a snack or a full meal.“

“Went to eat there on a Saturday before going to watch the hockey game. Food was great, the waitress was absolutely fantastic. My wife has a gluten issue and ordered the burger. The waitress was quick to point out that some ingredients weren't gluten free, and she offered to make sure that it was made with gluten free ingredients. We were both amazed that she wound do this. Unfortunately I can't remember her name but she was awesome, great job to her.“

“10/10 experience with Smoque Shack catering our wedding. They brought their food truck to our venue and then served our dinner family-style. They also stuck around and did our late night snack from the truck. We got a lot of great feedback from our guests that they thought the food was great and that they had more than enough food portions-wise. The timing of our service went really well, and we also liked how the food was presented on the tables. Tyler was hands down the fastest vendor to respond to our emails and questions, too, and accommodated our requested changes with no issues and a great deal of flexibility. We were aiming for comfort food where our guests would feel relaxed, comfortable, and satisfied, and Smoque Shack definitely delivered.“

“Amazing experience!! My wife and I recently went to celebrate her 50th birthday. All the staff was amazing. Our server James went over and above what we could have ever expected. The food was amazing and arrived quickly despite how busy the restaurant was that evening. The manager Rob even went so far as to give my wife a free desert with a candle lit! We were prepared to pay, but Rob insisted it was on the house. It was refreshing to receive this level of service that in my opinion has declined at other establishments, especially in the Orleans area. They really hit that “WOW FACTOR”. “After my previous review, someone reached out to me to apologize for the miscommunication.I've been back a couple times and even had the cauliflower wings on the AYCE wings night.The house hot sauce is great, and the local beers are really great (shout out to the Limerick Stout - I lived in Limerick for a couple years and have even reached out to Evergreen to compliment them on a good quality Irish stout!)All the staff are super friendly and attentive and the energy is incredible during the Sens games.Happy to have this place local to my new apartment!Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian options, only the cauliflower wings, a salad, and nachos as far as I can recall. Nachos were good if maybe a bit pricey for the size.“

“Went in for some late night drinks with my fiancé and brother. Actually came from the brig because the service there was terrible as usual. When I arrived, I was seated right away. It was pretty busy, but our server was very quick and knowledgeable. We had the all you can eat wings with beer. The wings were consistent and well sauced. 8/10 on the wings. The beet was cheap too and ice cold how I like it. 7/10 on the beer. Now, where this place struggles is the volume. They don't have anything to absorb the sound, so it can get unbareable at times. At one point, I couldn't even hear the person standing right next to me. Definitely soured the night a tad, but it was still a good night.“

“Absolutely amazing. We are from out of town and decided to give it a shot. The food was beyond expectation, Kayla is the waitress to ask for and the whole vibe was great. My husband says get the Spartan burger and wings. I recommend the Baja 500 with Zucchini fries. Loved it.“
