“it was mine and my girlfriends first time at a moxies restaurant. We had delicious food, it was a great atmosphere and music, and also had a great server named Ryan. One thing that I noticed was that he came to check on us multiple times to make sure everything was ok with our food, in which is not done at many other places. It showed that he cared about our experience and made it very pleasurable. His customer service was number 1.“

My mom and dad used to order their pallet boxes from here all the time, and it was always amazing. The time was short from order to pickup, and the food was amazing. Definitely coming in person next time I’m in Hamilton.“

“Had a 2 piece cod and chips meal with coleslaw.$18.95. Best fish and chips I have had in a while. Cod was crispy and not overly battered. Good size pieces as well. Too much for me but as the cod was thick it reheated in airfryer the next day beautifully. Now my favorite go to for fish and chips in Hamilton. I want to amend this to say there are new owners as of 2025 and they have changed the menus. This review was from previous owner.“

“I've worked hard my whole life to get to where I'm at and dont mind ppl asking if I take steroids but when I'm all natural and and waitress calls me steroid Steve I don't appreciate it what so ever. have some work ethics and don't talk trash about your customers. #Emily ... still have love for everyone else and love the owners . still a good place to go“

“Busy, fun, yet quaint! The flavours were delicious. Two flatbreads and vegetable linguine. The fried cheesecake was sooo good! The manager Kelly was running around to make sure all seating arrangements and details were met! Fast and friendly service!“

“Food was very subpar. the garlic loaf was cold, the soup luke warm, and the chicken fingers for $21 were coated in an oil based sauce that you could not see or taste. Asked for sauce to dip and it was mostly oil mixed with a hot sauce. Yellow Currie was ok but very bland in taste. stack quesadilla was luke warm did not come with sour crème or pico de gala. it had been a long time since we had been here and it looks like it will be even longer before we ever go back. I can say that the servers were pleasant and apologetic for what came out of the kitchen.“

“The owner of lotos is incredibly amazing, I rented the hall for my daughter’s 1st birthday, he was super helpful, and accommodating. We ran into an issue of the bouncy castle not able to fit in the hall and allowed us to have it in the parking lot at the back of the hall. Overall great service, I highly recommend lotos for any party planning. My husband and I appreciate him being so generous.“

“Every time I come to Hamilton, I always make a stop here and order an abundance of Bifana sandwiches. 2 to 3 I eat there with about 6 beer and 4 Bifana for take out so I can share and have the next day. Just love the flavour and how Manny makes this traditional Portuguese sandwich delicacy.“

“The food was excellent and our server was great. We saw the restaurant on CHCH Morning Live last week and decided to go. The atmosphere is unreal, overwhelming actually!“

“The pastas are really good and the sweet potato fries as well. The caramel apple mocktail was good but they didn’t have apples when I ordered it so that was sad. The bruschetta was yummy but the flatbread(?) part was weirdly stale. Also the water glasses are usually kind of dirty so we try to ask for straws. Good seating though and the staff are always nice. Sad that they’re not open on weekends!“

“Nice little bar on barton street east not to far from center mall. Friendly bartender and other customers were nice and respectful. Drinks are priced reasonably, also cheaper than most other bars in hamilton. There are a few pool tables and a huge t.v for entertainment. They Also have a small patio area. Will definitely stop by here again when I'm in the area.“

“Tried to attend a 9 pm Church service in Toronto and it was canceled, arrived back in Hamilton after 10 pm where thr Owner, Pat, opened her doors to us with fresh hot coffee, wine and the finest of hospitality. That's what a great neighborhood is all about. I'll be back soon.Thanks, Pat.“

“Was here a few weeks back and wanted to grab some food on the way out. So I ended up ordering 2 dozen wings, the wings were battered and tasted pretty good, a bit pricy but it is a pub. They have other food options there too that I should check out next time!“
