“Enjoyed a nice meal in this Rest I had not been in in a few years. I had the burger. Very good, very tasty. Others in party had salmon, wings and daily soup. Food was excellent. Service was great Karen was attentive and friendly. place is very cozy and clean“

“I’ve been wanting to try Bernie’s for sometime now and I’m sure glad I got to today. The ambiance was a delight, the kitchen was busy with takeaway orders right when they opened and the bartender was nice. My pint of beer was nice and cold and my club sandwich was over the top awesome and left me feeling full. My girlfriend enjoyed the burger — which the beef patty looked house made- and my Caesar salad was made with fresh crunchy lettuce! We’ll definitely be back for more! Cheers!“

“The place has good delicious food with great deals such as $5 on all bar rails and 5$ on Canadian and coors light. it's a good place to hang out on the weekends with nice dj music and such good deals.“

“Rolled through here for the first time playing a show with my band. The pictures do not do it enough justice. Vibes were immaculate. Only one person working on a Friday night but the staff there was very nice and the tacos were delicious. Great selection of beer and other drinks with very fair prices. Venue space is unique and has great character as well. Definitely recommend for fans of good dive bars with character or just those looking to enjoy some live music. This is an awesome spot I can't wait to return to“

“Went with a friend for lunch today, our server was Tayla, she was absolutely delightful!! Even took a photo for us!! Then our takeaway order was ready, was brought to us by the manager, forget your name, sorry!! He gave us a hug!! What a happy friendly bunch of people, our experience was 10/10, amazing food, drinks and people, perfect combo, we will def be back! Thanks again!!“

“Game day for the Ticats. Paired down menu which is totally understandable. We arrived before the game. I was a bit worried… it is an older building, and some renovations (bathrooms) would come in handy. This was like being at a tailgate party!!!
After the game, holy heack! Busy!!!

“Crooksy’s is a true gem. Everything you could want from a neighbourhood pub. Great food, incredible prices (especially if you stick to weekly specials), fun and quality staff. Crooksy’s is the kind of place you can walk into by yourself and walk out with 3 new friends. If you haven’t tried the wings, you should!!“

“Great little local pub, the food is all plant based & delicious! Came here with 2 vegan friends and we will absolutely be back! As the only non vegan/vegetarian in the group I can honestly say I didn't miss the meat. The food was flavourful, with big portions and great specials. The drinks were amazing and the service was wonderful as well. Be sure to check it out!“
