“Great service from the moment I stood in line. The older lady gave me a heads up that she'll be right with me. She was very attentive to the order of the toppings that I listed & she repeated it back to me to make sure she heard correctly.I decided to upgrade to a combo, & to my surprise, I found two cookies instead of one.THIS is why I will come back again.Thank you for your service!“
“Basically, whatever loot you find you have to "cash in" to turn it into permanent/persistent currency by turning it in at an outpost, and a lot of the 'piracy' part comes from the fact that loot is all physical items that exist in 3D space. Other crews can and will try to get your treasure sometimes, and if a ship with loot on it sinks, all the loot floats up and stays at the surface for a while to be collected.
Of course, often other players will be neutral, or friendly, or just sail away, or pretend to be friendly to sneak a gunpowder keg onto your ship. A lot of the fun comes from that. At its core it's just a way to pretend to be a pirate with all your friends.“
