“Usually one of our go-to spots for dinner, and our visit the other night reminded me why.
We were heading to a movie afterward, so we were in a bit of a rush. As always, the service was quick, friendly, and there was no wait to be seated.
I ordered the ribs, but unfortunately they came out burnt—and it looked like extra sauce had been added to cover it up. I mentioned it to our server, who immediately took the dish back and offered to have a new one made. Because we were short on time, I couldn’t wait for a replacement, which was more on me than on them.
She brought the manager over, and not only did the manager completely agree that the ribs were overcooked, but she removed the entire entrée from the bill without hesitation. That level of accountability and customer care goes a long way.
Because of that action alone, I’ll definitely be back.“

“1-Follow up on reservations for my party by the restaurant hours ahead-and seating location was as requested.Notified we had two for service that day -Catt /Makayla .2-Informed both-we were catching up our once a month chit/chat and they informed us of the menus - etc —choices were made on our part with both of them checking on our various selections and keeping things flowing all the time.-questions of changing salad dressings with our selections-just one of the changes after that a few more but never gave the suggestion to us that it was any problem.-Several times we were asked how are things going-was there any thing we did not have or do we wish to change anything that was just not what we thought we were Ordering from the menus. We said no and they said enjoy your time .We did and again we left knowing that is a place in Barrie you might wanted to add to seek and find list of where to eat in Barrie,Ontario soon.“

“First and foremost, I highly recommend doing their free weekend tours. The staff there are really nice, and knowledgeable about their drinks, including the process and factory. We explored the entire back door of the brewery and saw how their drinks and products are made, the history and some other near facts.
The restaurant is pretty hip, their beers are packaged in very artistic and abstract Designs which are very eye catching. It's worth stopping by Flying Monkeys if you're visiting the Barrie area!“

“Conveniently located steps away from GO station which made it a perfect rest stop after a long trip. Got the chicken avocado sandwich with cream of mushroom soup and rosemary potatoes. Loved everything. mushroom soup was a tad TOO flavourful with too many spices, but that’s a personal preference.
Chamomile tea was great to soothe my upset stomach. The server (Jamie?) was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back if I’m ever in town again.“

“This is a lovely cafe that's got a great aesthetic. We've been twice, now, and have really enjoyed the coffee and tasty snack. It would be great if there were more savoury options available to eat, it looks as though they don't expect to get many customers. The girls behind the counter are so nice! “This is the definition of the neighborhood spot. This is a staple in town and it has earned it right to be. Locker room staff is always a fun time and the food is consistent and delicious. Highly recommend giving it a try if you haven't.“

“We ordered takeout and were really impressed with the generous portions and delicious food. However, no one asked us about spice levels when we ordered, so we assumed the dishes would be moderately spicy, but they weren’t spicy at all. Still, everything tasted great, and we’ll definitely go back again and next time we’ll make sure to request the spicier options.“

“went to Sakana house location at Big Bay Point with a group of 8 yesterday (Feb3), about 40 minutes into receiving our food, different individuals from our table start finding hair in the food while grabbing it straight from each platter. the first time a hair is found we mention it to the staff and just put aside the food that has a 10" hair in it. then it continues, long hairs, short hairs, black hair, brown hair, etc. each time we show the staff they take it away. after 5 times in a row we stop eating and decide we want to go. we ask to speak to the manager. no manager comes to us. a staff by the name of "Na Na" decides to say she was sorry, but everyone wears hair nets and it's busy...... we walk to the area where staff makes and preps food, not one person is wearing hair nets...... I again ask for a manager to which no one never comes. she then says she'd give us a discount on each bill for the trouble. I paying for 3, with a bill of $134 got a $10 discount for hairy food and we went elsewhere because we were still hungry at we were not there for long..... the table behind us found hair in their food as well, in their first plate. they left right away..... So If you want hairy sushi at full price, go here. I will be calling Food Safety and complaining about this location as well. 0/5 rating!!“

“The truth is manager would hook up with girls in his office stealing moneny from at louis and allowing his bartenders to to coke in the bathroom and god knows what else all the pools competitive poola and so forth are botched and have determined winners like old regulars that have put forth money into the estqblishment almoat all of the regulars drink and drive and will go further to say ive wqrched guys come out of restroom and id go in and find abunch of coke on the bathroom table there , bartenders getting into regulars cara to take shots of alcohal and indisend exposure by older woman with the age to be someone granny. Needless to say also got bartenders im theyre that would be doing coke with the managers brother aswell“

Portion size was generous, and everything tasted freshly made. Definitely a must-try for anyone who loves Mediterranean flavors or wants something flavorful and healthy. I’ll definitely be coming back for this again!“

“Hadn’t been there in years. Food was delicious but the place was empty at lunch and looked pretty run down. Atmosphere pretty dull with no music. Bathrooms pretty dirty. Place needs a good upgrade. But rhe food was delicious. Id recommend rake out and not eat inside“
