I loved the clean look of the restaurant, minimal decorations, a nice soft colour pallet open and bright.
Our waitress Lizz was very professional with her way of greeting us saying “hello ladies!” (more on this later)
Lizz took our orders giving us enough time to look at the menu.
As I saw others food coming out of the kitchen (a beautiful set up as well) I got more excited, especially when the table beside us got their beautiful looking food delivered, when ours came I was not disappointed!
The plate was beautiful, eggs poached medium, ham and potatoes with some thin sliced red crisp onions, perfect temperature all served on beautiful stoneware, the toast was brought out in a basket to keep the toast from becoming soggy, the coffee was great too and served in a big mug, not the heavy stone kind, big enough I didn’t need a refill.

Lizz checked in with us a few times to see if we needed anything else, when we had finished paying Lizz said “thank you ladies for coming, hope to see you again”!
Lizz because of your greeting and the great food and atmosphere we definitely will be back!

In general when people are eating out weather it’s fast food, a pizza joint or dining in I find it a downer when a group of woman of all ages coming in together are greeted with “hi guys, or what can I get you guys, and when we are done and need to pay and are asked, can I get you guys the machine?” It sounds so unprofessional.
Every time I am mis-greeted I do take a moment to educate, I make suggestions, just say hello everyone or hello I hope you enjoy your meal today, anything else but hi guys!
Sadly before long they come back with “is there anything else I can get you guys?”
Lizz has it right! And it was the start of a positive experience.

I write this in hopes others in the service industry take notice, speak up and make changes, it seem small but it sure changes the atmosphere and we are paying your bills and we tip.”

“If you are a wing lover, you definitely have to try Wings Wizard. This place has become one of my favorite spots to eat wings. “Love this little diner! My boyfriend and I drive here every so often on Sundays. It’s A friendly place where people don’t hesitate to start a conversation with The table sitting next to them. I’ve only been here three times. I recommend the club sandwich with the fast Eddie’s fried chicken inside it (EFT). Their fried chicken is so good! Basically, it’s boneless chicken thighs, cooked in a light Cajun style shake and bake type of Seasoning. I don’t know if it’s deep-fried But it’s very light if it is. If you want their home fries, you have to get there before 11 AM. Otherwise you can still have dollar fries or regular fries. I also highly recommend their homemade coconut cream pie, which comes topped with a lot of real whipped cream. It’s a really big piece for only $4.99! Perfect size for sharing. Probably what makes this diner so unique is that it’s run by a group of ladies. I don’t wanna say grannies but you still get that family Home-cooked diner Vibe at a reasonable price. They also sell their pies to go. I noticed they also sell Homemade maple syrup fudge for sale, although I have not tried it Yet. I saw somebody else order an egg salad sandwich, and it looked like it was loaded with egg salad. Next time I will take pictures and upload them. From Barhaven, it’s only a 20 minute commute. I see a lot of people enjoying their breakfast there. Please don’t leave without trying their fried chicken even if it’s just one piece on the side ha ha ha! Trust me, it’s not like KFC it’s just sumptuous and delicious!”

“I have been at the Cafe twice now. First for a wedding and second for an entrepreneur meeting. Both times the place has been impeccable, bathrooms are clean, staff is efficient and nice. It’s in my bucket list now to visit during regular hours one day! 🩷”
