From the moment he took my reservation over the phone to arriving at the restaurant, he was friendly, charming, professional, attentive & genuinely welcoming. He made sure everything was going smoothly and checked on us regularly during our meal. He also consistently checked on other guests at their tables to ensure everyone was satisfied with the food and service while maintaining a strong presence with the
staff.

It’s clear that Anthony takes pride in both the overall guest experience and staff. The team seemed well supported, organized and motivated under his guidance, which really enhanced our visit and made it so much more enjoyable. Strong leadership, outstanding staff and exceptional service, combined with delicious and amazing food, truly make a huge difference. “The kids and I love East side Mario's. Decent menu of Italian dishes and pubfare. Pretty much ever meal has the unlimited salad or soup priced in now so prices seem up since they combined it in (used to be a seperate charge) but are pretty much the same. Staff is always friendly and patient with the kids. Recently went for family members birthday and the have a robot bring out the desert so the kids absolutely love that. Food has always been great and served in a reasonable timeframe. Would recommend for a family night out. Also plenty of tv's at angle that allow you to see the game/scores without looking like you're watching the game ;)“

“Trendy place with pretty good selection of meals. Busy location next to a kids play area. Parking was difficult. Good selection of appetizers. The eggplant was excellent. Found the sea bass (branzino) was a bit over cooked. Service was extremely slow. Took well over an hour just to get the mains, so don't plan on a quick meal. If you have no place to be then fine..“

“We went to Smoke and Mirrors Gastropub last Saturday with a couple of friends, and it was great experience from start to finish. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. The food was fantastic - creative dishes with fresh ingredients, nice flavours and beautiful presentation. Every plate felt thoughtfully crafted. The deserts were top-notch. It's rare to find a place that nails both food and service like this. We'll definitely be coming back soon -a real great find.“

He basically kicked us out of our seats. The couple sitting next to us who were there already when we were seated were still there enjoying their time yet Walter asked my friend and I to leave because he had the next guests waiting. My guess is he had no problem asking us to leave because we were two females hence the reason he felt he could bully us, however, it would be a different story had he asked a couple to leave. Long story short, not impressed with Walter to say the least but food is exceptional!!“

“The food was incredible we got the fried calamari, Caesar salad, minestrone soup, Veal Piccata and the penne a la vodka. Went here on a Saturday, I used to work in the industry so I understand how busy it can be at 7pm on a weekend however, the staff seemed very unorganized and our server seemed very rushed with our table. The servers had no assigned sections or tales so they were taking tables as they pleased leaving our server overwhelmed, we had to inquire about the specials because he forgot to tell us, the manager was also scolding the employees out in the dinning room instead of in private. Overall the food was amazing and I would definitely recommend it however, the restaurant itself seemed unorganized and dysfunctional.“

“Ordered two pasta dishes…Penne Ala Rosa and Tortellini Alfredo for our Thanksgiving dinner. I have to say that the Penne was very good, but it had bacon in it so not sure if I was given the Penne with Pancetta or not. The Tortellini was so bland and tasteless…very disappointing as we had loved it in the past. They supplied tons of Parmesan cheese, but no crusty rolls as mentioned in their menu.

Sadly I won’t be ordering again from Santino’s..
