“My husband and I celebrated our 1-year wedding anniversary at Locale in King City. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner with friends here indoors last year in the summer and this time around we enjoyed a quiet dinner for two on the patio. The food, as always, is delicious, masterfully crafted, and aesthetically pleasing! The staff are always welcoming, friendly, and courteous!! The ambience is tranquil and embedded in nature. We truly enjoy our time dining here and would highly recommend Locale to others for any occasion!!!“

“Amazing server, Katinka. Was fantastic with our group of 11 people(adults and children). Very diligent to check in with us. Only thing that I would suggest would be updating the women's washroom as the one door looked to appear to almost he falling off. Excellent venue, staffing and food.

Kid-friendliness: Our server was patient, thorough for a group of 11. Allowed each child to order their own independently and was patient to confirm each order.“

“Service and food was impeccable. Parking was a bit messy but the valet was a good option. Given the area - prices may seem a bit high but it’s justified. Our server was attentive, food was lovely and corkage wasn’t too bad should you wish to bring your own bottle.

Was here to celebrate some belated birthdays and the desserts were comped which was an appreciated touch.“

“What an amazing experience we had for our anniversary at this Gastropub. Unassuming from the outside but the food and service were exceptional.

We started with some fancy cocktails that had the perfect touch of class and theatrics. The lobster roll was stacked perfectly and the Frito Misto had a light batter that was one of the best we’ve had. I will not hesitate to order both again on my next visit. Our main pasta dishes were delicious and did not disappoint either as we had the Rigatoni Carbonara and the Ravioli Porcini and Tartufo. We ended with the Chocolate Lava Cake and the Chefs Famous Bread Pudding that were the perfect end to our meal.

Overall we had an amazing time and we’ll definitely be back. The table side service for the appetizers and desserts were a nice touch with the food being plated for you.“

He basically kicked us out of our seats. The couple sitting next to us who were there already when we were seated were still there enjoying their time yet Walter asked my friend and I to leave because he had the next guests waiting. My guess is he had no problem asking us to leave because we were two females hence the reason he felt he could bully us, however, it would be a different story had he asked a couple to leave. Long story short, not impressed with Walter to say the least but food is exceptional!!“

“Since my parents were staying at the Monte Carlo Inn I went there for dinner few times over the past 2 weeks. We had the chance to taste many dishes on the menu and always had great food, wine and espresso coffee. The service was also great. I didn't know this place before, but Botticelli's is definitely a place I would recommend for an authentic Italian food experience.“

Last night, we had the pleasure of celebrating two of our family members at Zafferano Ristorante. Although we're not from Toronto and had never been to this restaurant before, our friends had booked a large section of the venue for over 30 guests—so we really didn’t know what to expect.

What followed was nothing short of amazing.

We started the evening with some beautifully crafted cocktails. The drinks were delicious, and our waiter was quick to offer creative twists on our usual favourites—setting the tone for the night ahead.

When it came time to sit down for dinner, the experience only got better. They kept bringing out plate after plate until we could barely move! The food was phenomenal: every dish was full of flavour, perfectly served at the right temperature, and visually stunning.

A special shoutout to our waiter, Alex. He was outstanding—attentive without being intrusive, always ensuring our glasses were full and that every new course arrived with perfect timing.

It was an incredible night and the perfect way to kick off our vacation. We left with full stomachs, happy hearts, and memories we’ll talk about for a long time.“

“First time attending Anna and Lucio’s with family and would HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be coming back!!! From the atmosphere to the service and food it was phenomenal. The photos are the Calamari to start, amazing not to salty, very flavourful. The special was straciatella with spinach and tortellini. Amazing soup and the portion was filling for an appetizer I was quite shocked. They also gave us 2 servings of bread (which many places do not do that). For the mains we had the mushroom risotto, very rich, flavourful and creamy perfect amount of seasoning. Not too watery like most places. The veal chop with a SIDE of penne alla vodka was mouthwatering and cooked to perfection. I wanted to try 2 different dishes so they accommodated for me to get 2 different pastas (shows in photo 4) for the price of one dish. The handmade gnocchi with meat sauce was amazing and full of flavour and my second choice was the penne alla vodka and I was very happy and satisfied with my choice. I have never been to a place where I could get 2 great portioned and flavourful dishes for the price of one!!! The veal Parmesan and penne à la vodka was to die for and was cooked perfectly not full of fat like some other places that I have been toO!! The tiramisu dessert was amazing along with the pistachio, lemon and tarrone was very light, yummy and sweet!! The service was amazing. The accommodations that we were able to make along with the portion size sizes is very rare to find and made the experience 100% better. I would for sure recommend doing a party or coming here for special occasions or just something casual!!!“

“Enjoyed a beautiful catered menu for holiday dinner and it was superb. Unfortunately my picture taking skills don’t make up for the delicious food. We enjoyed some Rose Penne, Chicken Parm, Lasagna, Pizza, and Rapini… all tasted so good, just like a beautiful home cooked meal.

I would highly recommend catering or even dining in to try the delicious food. Maria and her staff are so kind and pleasant and have such beautiful souls. I look forward to my next visit.
