“One of the most iconic and well-made Italian restaurants in the GTA. The food is always authentic and delicious, and the service is consistently good with friendly, smiley servers. I’ve been a loyal client for many years and always enjoy coming back.

That said, the manager should take a closer look at the state of the washrooms—sometimes there are no paper towels available, which takes away from the otherwise great experience.“

“I was craving authentic Italian pizza and this little gem showed up on the map. My prayers were answered! The dough was crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and packed with a flavour that would make my nonna cry tears of joy. Just the right amount of fresh topping to enhance it. Magnifico! 😋“

“Went in with a large hockey group with no reservations. Initially we were not very well received but they did eventually accommodate us. Our server Jen did a fantastic job. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. The food was fantastic - creative dishes with fresh ingredients, nice flavours and beautiful presentation. Restaurant was very clean and beautiful atmosphere... reminded me of the many times my family would gather together for family reunions, at fancy restaurants, when I was a kid. The service was great.... food came to the table very fast. The flavor was devine...I haven't had food taste like that in years. I think every single bite I took was worth the price.

This experience was a 10/10 for me. I will be going back 100%.... can't believe I just discovered this place now. My goal is to have everything on the menu.

“First time attending Anna and Lucio’s with family and would HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be coming back!!! From the atmosphere to the service and food it was phenomenal. The photos are the Calamari to start, amazing not to salty, very flavourful. The special was straciatella with spinach and tortellini. Amazing soup and the portion was filling for an appetizer I was quite shocked. They also gave us 2 servings of bread (which many places do not do that). For the mains we had the mushroom risotto, very rich, flavourful and creamy perfect amount of seasoning. Not too watery like most places. The veal chop with a SIDE of penne alla vodka was mouthwatering and cooked to perfection. I wanted to try 2 different dishes so they accommodated for me to get 2 different pastas (shows in photo 4) for the price of one dish. The handmade gnocchi with meat sauce was amazing and full of flavour and my second choice was the penne alla vodka and I was very happy and satisfied with my choice. I have never been to a place where I could get 2 great portioned and flavourful dishes for the price of one!!! The veal Parmesan and penne à la vodka was to die for and was cooked perfectly not full of fat like some other places that I have been toO!! The tiramisu dessert was amazing along with the pistachio, lemon and tarrone was very light, yummy and sweet!! The service was amazing. The accommodations that we were able to make along with the portion size sizes is very rare to find and made the experience 100% better. I would for sure recommend doing a party or coming here for special occasions or just something casual!!!“

“I’ve been to this restaurant several times. Food is absolutely amazing and for this reason alone I will return. But as far as the owner is concerned … was very disappointed how he treated us. He basically kicked us out of our seats. The couple sitting next to us who were there already when we were seated were still there enjoying their time yet Walter asked my friend and I to leave because he had the next guests waiting. My guess is he had no problem asking us to leave because we were two females hence the reason he felt he could bully us, however, it would be a different story had he asked a couple to leave. Long story short, not impressed with Walter to say the least but food is exceptional!!“

Went here on a Saturday, I used to work in the industry so I understand how busy it can be at 7pm on a weekend however, the staff seemed very unorganized and our server seemed very rushed with our table. The servers had no assigned sections or tales so they were taking tables as they pleased leaving our server overwhelmed, we had to inquire about the specials because he forgot to tell us, the manager was also scolding the employees out in the dinning room instead of in private. Overall the food was amazing and I would definitely recommend it however, the restaurant itself seemed unorganized and dysfunctional.“

“Was a bit weary about this place as it is in a hotel and most Marriott hotels don’t even have decent food.

This was probably the best Italian food we have had in the area…. A lot to say bordering Woodbridge.

“Enjoyed a beautiful catered menu for holiday dinner and it was superb. Unfortunately my picture taking skills don’t make up for the delicious food. We enjoyed some Rose Penne, Chicken Parm, Lasagna, Pizza, and Rapini… all tasted so good, just like a beautiful home cooked meal.

I would highly recommend catering or even dining in to try the delicious food. Maria and her staff are so kind and pleasant and have such beautiful souls. I look forward to my next visit.

“Ordered two pasta dishes…Penne Ala Rosa and Tortellini Alfredo for our Thanksgiving dinner. I have to say that the Penne was very good, but it had bacon in it so not sure if I was given the Penne with Pancetta or not. The Tortellini was so bland and tasteless…very disappointing as we had loved it in the past. They supplied tons of Parmesan cheese, but no crusty rolls as mentioned in their menu.

Sadly I won’t be ordering again from Santino’s..
