Went to Lone Star Grill with a couple friends last Saturday afternoon and the brisket plate did not disappoint at all. We got there around 2pm so it was quiet enough to actually chat, and our server kept the sweet tea topped up without us even asking. Parking behind the building was easy too, which is always a bonus when you're downtown. Honestly already planning our next weekend trip back for the ribs.
Stopped by at Lone Star Grill last Friday evening and the brisket plate did not disappoint, smoky and tender with a nice char on the edges. It was busy around 7pm but our server still kept the drinks coming and never made us feel rushed. The patio seating out back has a nice little string-light setup that makes it feel more special than your average grill joint. Been eating here for years and the quality has honestly stayed consistent the whole time, which is rare these days.
Great margaritas, great food. Our server Colada was organized and friendly, her recommendations were spot on! Weird about the reservation system… as walk ins we were told a 45 minute wait, but I popped outside and made a rezzie for a table and got in right away with that.
