“There are always many vegan options to choose from at Mio Gelato! Their red handles are vegan flavors which is about 1/3 of their total gelatos! The only disappointment is that the gelatos flavors that are vegan are mostly fruit based sorbets. I would love to see some more creative vegan flavors from Mio Gelato using nondairy creams or milks! That being said I am always down for a goood fruit flavored sorbet and Mio Gelato does not disappoint!“
“Delicious food! A year ago, we were in Phnom Phen, and wanted some Cambodian food while visiting Kingston. My son LOVED the cashew chicken, and I really liked the ginger beef (it was spicy). Excellent service, in a hole-in-the-wall setting.“

“Probably the best burger joint in town. When I first sat down and looked at the price I was taken aback a little bit, but after eating the food I can see why. Everything was just so fresh and tasty. The waffle fries were nice and crisp with a nice soft middle and the “La La Land” burger was just fantastic. I was a little skeptical about avocado and goat cheese on a burger once I started eating I couldn’t put it down. If you’re in the Kingston area, as if says on the door, You Gotta Eat Here.“
“I’ve been ordering from them pretty regularly ever since I moved to Kingston, six years ago. I’ve tried many of their dishes, and I always add cucumber raita and peas pulao, and they’ve all been wonderful and flavourful. The portions are a great size, the garlic naan is always warm, fresh and delicious. There are also many tasty vegetarian options.Note: I’ve seen a few complaints about having to order rice on the side - I’ve eaten at South Asian restaurants all over North America, and it’s been a very common experience to order rice and extra dishes separately so I’d ignore them.“

“Fantastic farmer's market with produce and plenty of ready-to-eat food options! The steamed buns at Farm Sum are fantastic (Asian-owned eco farm that does farm tours and cooking classes as well). Choc Chique has fabulous dark chocolate. The strawberries from Menson's are very sweet! Loon Kombucha has great drinks and they're not very carbonated like other kombucha“

Ran into a NYF rep today and asked about the forks but… Canadian legislation is against us for the awful wooden (easily breakable) forks. “We made reservations for my sister's birthday. I must say all of the positive reviews don't do this place justice. From the cozy seating, simple but refined menu, absolutely delicious appetizers, mains and desserts, comfortable, relaxing ambiance and we can't forget the service. Our server Marco was very friendly, funny, accommodating and helpful. He made us feel very welcome. And we can't forget our mixologist Abby who made the most amazing drinks for us and left a memorable experience with my nephew who will never forget this visit. Hope to see you all again when we visit Kingston. We highly recommend this gem.“

The food did not dissapoint any of us. If we will to ranked the food, the best would be the linguine pasta, fish and chips, fish tacos, mussels and the least fav would be the seafood poutine.Service is fast and everyone is very nice and professional. They will genuinely take care of you. They attended all our our requests which maybe hard sometimes since we are a big group but they accommodate us well.Washroom is clean but stairs to the washroom needs sweeping.Parking would be challenging cause its downtown.“
