We sat across from another couple that was celebrating there 1st Anniversary too. Small world. Joel was amazing at helping us all with the menu choices for drinks, main course, and even dessert. our first time so that was big for us to get this from him. Wonderful evening at the always full Grecos Grill & Wine Bar with a wonderful din of conversation, servers happily singing and humming, and the great food. “Heartfelt gratitude out to Bread and Butter Bakery for helping me out with a special vegan cake on very short notice! Every last crumb received lots of love! I’m not sure how it’s possible to make a luxuriously rich tasting cake that is also so light, but they did it ! They’ve been our go-to for muffins, scones and bread for years. “We enjoyed a delicious meal yesterday. We had veggie spring rolls, green curry chicken and chicken pad Thai. All was fresh and very well presented. The young man who served us was lovely and friendly although I think he was the only server trying to look after everyone he kept smiling. “We lunched at Pho Kingston 2023 03 14 and it was wonderful. Service was prompt and courteous, the food was in our opinion excellent. The restaurant is bright and clean, we did not check the washrooms but I would expect with the basic cleanliness of the dining area that they would be more than acceptable. Lunch for 3 (of which two of us took some home for later) plus 2 spring roll appetizers and 2 takeout dishes was $90. For me this translates to at least seven servings for that price. I had the Beef Pad Thai and a day later for supper at home it was still very tasty. For me it was a first time and I will return for sure. Thank you Pho Kingston.“

“If you haven’t tried Saber’s Taste of India on Princess in the west end yet …. you are seriously missing out. Hands down some of the best Indian food I’ve had in Kingston, maybe anywhere.

The Masala Lamb? Incredible. Tender, rich, perfectly spiced , it’s impossible to have just one bite. The Butter Chicken is everything you want it to be: creamy, flavorful, and comforting without being overly heavy. But the real hit, the Chicken Madras , unbelievably delicious with just the right kick of heat and depth of flavor that lingers in the best way.

But what makes the experience even better is Saber himself. He’s not just the owner; he’s the heart behind the food. You can feel how much pride, care, and love he puts into every single dish, and it makes everything taste that much better. There’s nothing better than knowing your meal was made by someone who truly loves what they do.

Hoa is an incredible representative of the family business, she will get to know you quickly and she makes sure everything is perfect. “One of my favourite spots to grab something healthy. Only complaint is it needs a good cleaning. The floor is showing neglect with dirt around the tables. Often tables are not wiped off, and it needs window blinds as it's facing west and gets all the afternoon sun, which is lovely but blinding and hot! The staff are always friendly and nice.

“I went to Kingston yesterday and I tried Denny’s since I’ve heard amazing things. IT WAS DELICIOUS!! THEIR WERE FREE REFILLS. And our server was the sweetest! My breakfast was delicious, and fulled me up! AND IT WAS CHEAP! I recommend this place, the experience was truly magical.“
