“I have been here 3x and just recently tried some of the apps after 9pm super good and the bar tender is very nice and very helpful with our visit. good place to try if you are in the mood for comfort foods.“

“Jamie helped us when we visited. The knowledge and understanding she brought to the table was unparalleled! She knew every beer, and made tellar recommendations! She also was attentive without being overbearing. The dishes were all homemade from scratch and the beer selection was unparalleled. Lots on top and lots of bottles too! The burgers are to die for, house smoke bacon the meat quality is the best in town.“

“Server Tanya was kind, very time efficient and knew how to tlak to their customers!!
We had the burgers (classic), chicken bowl, buffalo wrap and various drinks, all were delicious.
A highlight was the vinaigrette for the side house salad, very delicious.

“We went for Taco Tuesday, where tacos that are normally $8 for 2 are $2 each but you pay $1 each for the salsa and sour cream that are normally included. There are 2 types of tacos, pork and beef, and really no vegan options (garden salad and French fries) since the veggie burgers have egg in them. That said, the wings, Irish nachos, and cheese steak I tried were all fine - nothing exciting but perfectly good for the very reasonable price. It's a bit odd that they said their machine didn't output soda water but they did have bottled fizzy water. I also appreciate that they carry two types of non-alcoholic beer. The waitresses were great and the patio was nice, although a bit of music would have improved it.“

“Great pub, the food is exactly what you expect and same with the drinks. The real selling point is the regularity of live music, there's always somebody playing a tune when I walk in the door. Unfortunately the music always stops at 11pm, something to do with how the building is zoned. Not their fault and nothing to be done about it but still a little annoying if you're looking for a late night.“

“There's a reason this place has been a mainstay in University Plaza for a couple decades.
Welcoming atmosphere, frequent live music on weekends, great food and be sure to check daily specials for awesome deals (at the time of posting - half price wings Tuesdays, $6 burgers Monday's, $9 TRIPLES Fridays).
Pro-tip: You'll need 2 people to finish their $15 poutine.“

There’s a balcony type setup out the side also very cool yeah I recommend this place for a night out
The tv gets tuned out at night if you want to watch a game or something
