“Amazing ambience. Theme of restaurant is all in classic high quality traditional wood. Everything from the way you order to when it actually comes is such a great experience its a very intuitive system for ordering. On top of that the quality of ingredients and portion for price is more then exemplary. The self serve sauce section where you can make your own chili oil station is kept clean and fresh- had lots of options to choose from menu wise and everything was perfect from the minute we started to the time we finished
(I highly recommend the soy milk it comes in a big jug which really helps with the spice and is extremely authentic) Everything here was extremely authentic and I highly recommend it“

“Been coming for about a year and a half now almost two years and it’s been a pleasant experience every time, the hot pot is VERY hot and delicious and they’re very generous with their protein portions! Their rice dishes are delicious as well, the vegetables are served cold which I thought was a little odd at first but it does a great job cleansing the palate and giving a refreshing taste! The aesthetic is great and the lady at the front counter always has a great attitude when I walk in, thank you guys for the wonderful service so far, I love recommending you guys to my friends“

“This restaurant has revamped into an AYCE hot pot restaurant. Most of the toppings are self serve, including many different cuts of thinly sliced beef and lamb. From Spam, enoki and shiitake mushrooms, tofu, three types of noodles, shrimp, seaweed, quail eggs and so much more variety.

There's even a self serve dipping sauce section with tahini, fermented tofu and sesame oil and a Chinese jelly dessert available. Aside from hot pot, they also offer some fried selections like dumplings and takoyaki.

Favourite is pitchers of iced tea or thai iced tea are available for AYCE and grilled oysters (?!) for a decent price, which is unique to Londons food scene. Decent service, willing to accommodate and never felt rushed. Will continue to come here besides other hot pot restaurants in London.“

“I've found my go-to place for Chinese food in London. My visit was so efficient. I was greeted by 3 people with friendly smiles. Gave me 3 types of menu: the main, recommendations, and dim sum. I ordering 7 items, and the food took ~15 mins. I couldn't see a spec of dust, the restaurant was so clean.
It's a 20-min drive home for me and the food was still piping hot and so delicious.
Highly highly recommend.“

“I came for the dinner for one. the food was very hot and fresh, greatly packaged and came with all of the sauces needed. The portion size was literally huge ! I laughed to myself that it was for just me because it was enough for 3 people easily. the amount of chicken in the chicken and mushroom chow mein was honestly humbling and amazing it was so much I felt bad for not leaving a tip ! The pork fried rice was maybe the best I’ve ever had as well you could taste the breath of the wok and again so much pork !! Great tasting as well ! This is definitely a hidden gem in Byron. “We are new to this place, as we were frantically searching for somewhere new because our old go-to place shut down. After a lot of disappointments, we found Wong’s Gardens and we are so pleased with their food. We’ve had two orders so far and there will definitely be a third!

The eggrolls and wonton soup are delcious…and so is the Lo Mein with beef. The beef mushroom chop suey and the diced chicken with vegetables and almonds are also wonderful. It’s not listed on the menu but the lemon chicken is also good.

It’s difficult to find a good Chinese place in London now, but Wong’s Garden is the exception. Finally a place who knows how to make decent food! Thank you so much Wong’s Garden and we are very much looking forward to our next order with you. Happy Easter! 😁“

“What a fantastic find! Lotus Gardens is a locally owned, family-operated Chinese restaurant that truly stands out. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed—like part of the family. The owners take pride in their food and service, and it shows in every detail.

The dishes are made with love and authentic flavors. The dumplings are my favourite and tasted just like a home-cooked meal. You can tell they use quality ingredients and made it with love.

Beyond the delicious food, the warm, personal service made the experience even better. It’s rare to find a place that feels this genuine and community-focused. Supporting local family businesses like this one is always a pleasure.

I was heartbroken to hear about the recent robbery they experienced. No small business should have to go through something like that, especially one that brings so much joy to the community. But if anyone can bounce back stronger, it’s this resilient family!“

“Ordered late at night, drove and picked up. We were greeted at the door by a very nice women. The breading on the chicken is amazing! I have had a lot of different Chinese food but nothing like this. Honestly better than KFC and Popeyes combined! The lemon sauce to go with it complimented the chicken very well. My kids that don't overly like Chinese food really enjoyed the chicken and sauce. The vegetable rice was delicious. As someone who doesn't like too much soya in my rice this was perfect. It had the flavor but it wasn't overpowering. I'm sorry other people had bad experiences, but I had a fantastic experience and will be definitely ordering again in the future. Also I find the prices to be very fair and the portions to be great as well.“

“I recently dined at china town in Byron and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in, the warm ambiance and welcoming staff made me feel right at home.
The menu was extensive, offering a plethora of authentic dishes. I decided to try the Tofu and vegetables both of which were absolutely delectable. just the right amount of spice, and the tofu was rich and flavorful.
The presentation of each dish was a work of art, and you could genuinely taste the freshness of the ingredients. Additionally, the house-made dumplings were a highlight — they were perfectly steamed and bursting with flavor.
Service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable.
I left china town feeling completely satisfied and eager to return. If you're looking for authentic Chinese cuisine in a cozy setting, this place is a must-visit!
Thanks Angela“
