“This review is long overdue, but must be made.

My hubby and I had an outdoor vegan wedding the Summer of 2023 on Wolfe Island — a short ferry ride away from Kingston, Ontario. Plant Matter Kitchen came all the way from London, Ontario to make plant-based magic happen.

The food was phenomenal and guests, most of whom non-vegan, were raving about it. In addition to the awesome buffet spread, other highlights included the vegan sausage roll appetizers and the late night plant-based poutine bar. YUM!

Roula and Chef Elyse were a pleasure to work with. In addition to travelling all the way to us from London, Ontario, they went out of their way to accommodate our needs, working with us many months in advance to ensure we could make it all work logistically. The wedding was on a family property without a kitchen, but this didn’t stop them! We made it work together and we’re forever grateful!

“Absolutely Outstanding Dosa!

The dosa was nothing short of perfection—crispy on the outside, light and airy inside, with a beautiful golden color that showed real skill in preparation. Every bite had that authentic South Indian flavor, fresh and comforting at the same time.

The chutneys were rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced, and the sambar was flavorful, aromatic, and served hot—exactly how it should be. The dosa was not greasy at all and had the perfect texture and taste that keeps you wanting more.

You can truly tell that quality ingredients and passion go into making this dish. One of the best dosas I’ve had—highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic, delicious food! 😋“

“While the restaurant isn't wheelchair accessible (there are 3 steps and a lip at the door) the staff were incredibly attentive, meeting my older parents on the front walk (having noticed them coming up the sidewalk from the parking lot) and helping them up the steps and to a table.“

“I had purchased the supper club as a Christmas present for my parents. On the evening of the event in July, due to some bad luck and miscommunication about the new location, they ended up arriving well into the meal and were quite stressed about it all. Yaya's was extremely accommodating and bent over backwards to ensure they were well taken care of despite the late start and they had a wonderful experience as a result. While I myself have not had the chance to taste the food, they did say that it was both beautiful and delicious and would go back. I look forward to trying it myself one day.“

“If you like deep dish, you have to try Bubba’s at Pizza Projekt. It’s a legit deep dish.. thick, cheesy, and actually done right (not just regular pizza with a thicker crust). Honestly the best deep dish I’ve had in the city. Everything else we’ve tried there has been really solid too. Definitely our fav pizza place.“

“Very disappointing that the self-order stations are not fixed after many weeks. During busy times, customers have to wait in line to order with the person who is also making the food, delaying everything. This establishment is chronically under-staffed, even on a good day. This is also resulting in workers missing out on tips… you care about animals so should also care about paying your workers a living wage… your company is now a chain- I think you can afford it.“

“We love Bondi's pizza, seeing Tom and his always helpful & friendly staff, and tasting the difference quality makes. While my husband enjoys a Canadian pizza with pineapple, I appreciate Bondi's choice of more sophisticated flavour combos, like the Abruzo, Calabria, and Aristocrat! Next, I need to try the Veneto with hot honey! We also love the CBGB and bruschetta bread! Worth a visit for pick up or enjoy in the warmer season out front at the huge, chaming picnic tables! “We ordered through Skip the Dishes but after it hadn’t been picked up by their delivery driver after an hour and my complaints on their helpline it was cancelled. This was nothing to do with Richmoor’s but all because of Skip The Dishes failings. We ordered the same pizza directly with Richmoor and we picked it up. It was ready in 15 minutes and was delicious. Will definitely order again but direct“

“I was there about a week ago. Their vegetable fried spring rolls, 602 on the menu, were spectacular. I could eat them all day. Their tofu pad thai was disappointing. Very plain, no veggies and the sauce was bland. I wouldn't order it again. But great experience otherwise.“

“I don’t live in London but whenever I visit I go to Under the Volcano. If I did live in London, I’d go into serious debt..

I always get chimichangas whenever I can and this place does a great one. And the appetizer chips are amazing.

We recently went on Valentine’s Day and it was totally booked with reservations and walk ins but they were able to accommodate us after a short wait.

The atmosphere is unique here. It was busy and full…but somehow still quiet and organized.

This restaurant is actually amazing and don’t miss out if you’re deciding where to go. I’m looking forward to my next visit to London.“

“I had got my daughter to order for me threw the uber app, when she picked no spice it went to what the previously order's spice level was, which was extra hot. I can't eat spice because of health issues, this store when I called and explained they remade the order for me. I appreciate the staff at this location so much for understanding and remaking my order so that I could eat it. Chicken on the rocks. I love Osmow's food, it is so delicious. One of my favorite go to's to eat.

“Cool little grocery stop in London, ON. It gave me farmboy vibes and it looked, fresh and clean. They have a popcorn specialty, which is the very reason we stopped by. We brought home the chocolate covered popcorn and have been dreaming about it since then. So, as we were visiting we needed to pick up more of that goodness. Its ao good. We also picked up other flavors as souvenirs for our family, it made a great gift. Couldn't help but grab some granola and saltwater taffy. This is like a food heaven. Although, the prices here are quite high and somewhat unaffordable, I highly recommend stopping for the delicious treats.“

“Too claustrophobic at Sunfest, so our family decided to visit Meltwich for a snack.
When we arrived, we noticed 1 girl working alone, as we were ordering, the amount of Uber orders coming through was astounding!!

Regardless, we were served promptly, and barely waited for our food. Shout out to Monica for working so hard and making our first experience amazing! Give this girl a raise!

“We go get our quesadillas and extreme fries every week. Indeed churros are yummy too, I love it with caramel sauce. The staff is so friendly. We usually get a takeout late night. But all the toppings are always fresh and all the staff keep the counter very clean. This is the only location here in london who makes your food like they are making it for their selves.
