“I have been going to Lazeez for almost 12 years. Recently a lot of the locations have been serving poor quality food.
We went to this location last night after Canada's Wonderland, firstly the 2 young workers were super nice and accommodating. We were a large group (3 families) it was close to closing time. They still agreed to accommodate us for dine in. Order was prompt and served perfectly with no issues. The food was fresh and great quality. I must say this is a very good location! Very conveniently located and the staff is fantastic as well. Good job guys!“

“I had an amazing dining experience at Kavkaz Grill! The food was absolutely delicious, with a fantastic variety of dishes that truly capture the rich flavors of Caucasian cuisine. Every dish was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality added to the overall wonderful atmosphere of the restaurant.

“I got take out last night, rushing to eat before work (salad and chicken shawarma sandwich). It tasted odd... shortly after,, I called the location to tell them, something was off with the ingredients. I wasn't sure of it was the onions, turnips etc. something was left out too long perhaps... and today I am sick as a dog. I've eaten here before. I think they need better quality control on the food... especially being safely stored.. perhaps temperatures..etc“

“Great, familiar, cozy atmosphere. This place has one of the best chicken shawarma wraps (greek style) of the city, the juiciness of the meat, the spices, every bite is wonderful, the tahini sauce was great and the selection of toppings is more than enough.

The prices are really good considering this economy in Canada and the quality of food you’re getting. It’s a small place, with really nice people working there, really nice experience, will come back many times more. 🫶🏻🤝🏻“

“I had the lentil soup and döner plate. The soup was perfect and reminded me of home. The döner and white rice were tasty but a bit greasy for my liking. I would prefer less fat on the döner and less butter on the rice, but they were still balanced and enjoyable. They provided a generous amount of sides with both dishes and even offered a complimentary glass of tea. I'm looking forward to trying more dishes and exploring their butchery section as well. “The food here is very very good. I have eaten here twice in the last month. Once for lunch and once for dinner. For lunch, I had the Steak sandwich. I asked for medium well, and it was cooked to perfection. Really melt in your mouth steak. At the time I went for dinner, I had the chicken souvlaki salad. Amazing! It was really tasty, and very fresh. I believe this is their specialty. As a sidenote, the fries and gravy are out of this world. Best I’ve had anywhere. The service was very attentive and friendly. Not crowded at all. There was plenty of space inside for seating. Obviously, I would highly recommend this place for breakfast lunch or dinner.“

“Eat here! Don't go anywhere else, as this is the best place. The food is delicious, authentic, fresh and better than you'd ever expect to find in a food court. In addition, the guys working there are super nice and helpful. Try the #4 falafel and sharma platter and get the chicken and beef combo. 10/10!

“Classic Halifax style Donair was really good, service was quick too making the whole experience good. Plus seating (though not a lot) for if you’re looking for a quick sit down meal, or just a quick on the go meal! 100% recommend, plus there’s pizza.

“I get the chicken skewer and beef skewer dinner plate with your choice from 2 rice options, potatoes and choice of 2 salads from multiple options. Probably 2.5 lbs of food for just under $19. I can get 2 big dinners from this option, with left over rice and salad. The skewers take a little longer to cook, but worth the wait. However, I don't see this menu option online. I always order and pick up in person. My favourite shawarma place to frequent!

“The place was packed, but they tried very efficiently to accommodate. Staff very welcoming, smiling and try to help/please the customer. In particular we were impressed by the service and politeness shown by our Two servers, Hebun & Mete. Of course, one can not taste everything. We ordered a Platter that had combination of Meats, Vegetables, Grain Rice and Bread. Very tasty, enjoyed. They can make the Entrance more Clean and improve the Waiting Area.“

“Pretty decent place - very clean when I went. The only complaint I wish they’d have more toppings such as cucumber, peppers, tabouli.. even black or green olives they didn’t have! I didn’t see tzatziki sauce or any additional spices to add either. This surprised me for a Mediterranean fusion restaurant. The sign underneath also should be updated to read tahini’s, I almost missed the store walking by. (Not as current Mediterranean fusion restaurant)“

“I just had a Kobideh with rice. Unbelievable! The meal was so hearty and delicious. They served 2 skewers with a generous amount of rice. In these inflationary times, when many restaurants are reducing their portions and especially protein they served this big meal for on $11.99 and the guy had an amazing smile serving it. It is definitely a hidden gem. Let's support these guys so they can open up a bigger dining place. I would absolutely be trying other meal combos when I am around again.

“My husband and i are on route home from here as i type this, didnt want to forget to make this review. It was our late valentines day dinner. Martin was our server, and he was great. It was our first time here, no reservations around 5:40pm, and they only had the kitchen stools available, and we took the chance because we didn't mind. The cooks/chefs were welcoming and kind. EVERYONE was! Food was incredible, you tassste that they added garlic which is hard to find! highly, highly recommend this place. The staff were absolutely incredible, thank you for a great visit!“
