“I went to Made in Mexico to celebrate the birthday of my great-niece. I had the birria tacos and really enjoyed them. The food is great, of course (I actually ordered another helping of birria tacos to bring home for a friend and shrimp tacos for tomorrow's lunch - if they last that long). However, what put this place over the top for me was the staff. Ozz in particular was outstanding. He let me practise my rusty Spanish with him and when it was time to sing to the birthday girl, he sang louder and more joyfully than everyone. He danced with her and she was all smiles. What a great atmosphere - sorry about the noise; we can be a loud family.”

“3 generations of our family have been going there. Never once have we been disappointed. The cheese buns and onion buns are a must. definitely a 5 star. would give 10 if I could, probably much higher. There is nothing there that will disappoint especially the baked goods. I can never go there without picking up the pizza bun to take to my son. He loves them as much now as when he was a child.”

“We just moved into the area and ventured out on a walk with our kiddos to try some of the local shops and found Jake’s Bakes. Wow!! We loved everything about our first visit. Jake is so lovely and kind, and really hit it off with our kiddos. The lemonades were so refreshing and yummy. And the BAKED GOODS — don’t even get me started because they’re delicious — every single one that we tried! We have decided that we’re going to frequent Jake’s Bakes for a coffee and a baked good as a weekend treat whenever we can!”

“We have been a patron since 2004. This is the best Indian food restaurant in the region. Yar and Noor are the experts in the art of Indian food cooking with many years of experience and they are so friendly to all the customers. The service is great and we love the many variety of dishes. No other restaurants can compare to the unique taste of Tara cuisine. Young and old would love this place that has an upgraded decor. Try it out and see for yourself.”

“September 16 our party of 5 visited Bacio Trattoria for the first time. What a delight! The menu is authentic and elegant Italian. The service was attentive but not over bearing. We enjoyed a complimentary Lemoncello with the Chef/owner for the perfect end to a great evening and dinner. We'll be back!”

I was really impressed.
Half of the time I go out for Jerk chicken I think my own is better. I’m picky.
This was tasty, had a bite but not too much.
Goat curry was really good too.
Healthy portion sizes.
Coleslaw and rice/beans were good too.
Staff was friendly.
The only issue was that it was good I ate too much and was stuffed lol

“1-Follow up on reservations for my party by the restaurant hours ahead-and seating location was as requested.Notified we had two for service that day -Catt /Makayla .2-Informed both-we were catching up our once a month chit/chat and they informed us of the menus - etc —choices were made on our part with both of them checking on our various selections and keeping things flowing all the time.-questions of changing salad dressings with our selections-just one of the changes after that a few more but never gave the suggestion to us that it was any problem.-Several times we were asked how are things going-was there any thing we did not have or do we wish to change anything that was just not what we thought we were Ordering from the menus. We said no and they said enjoy your time .We did and again we left knowing that is a place in Barrie you might wanted to add to seek and find list of where to eat in Barrie,Ontario soon.”

“I purchased chicken soup on a number of occasions for my Grandson who's 23 months. He calls the food yummy. I have eaten other food on the menu, and each time we have enjoyed it. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. This restaurant hasn't been open very long, but you should at least visit once, as you won't regret it. Some food like festival is made to order, which just goes to prove how on the ball these people are. We know that there is more than one shop. We visited Carib Dish at St. Clair Avenue West.”

“Went here for the first time tonight for a birthday dinner with friends and had a great time. The food and drinks were on point! Yes, everything was a bit pricy, but it tasted fantastic and noone had a single complaint about their food or drinks. Our server was great for being at our table almost instantly, giving us time while waiting for others to show up, and the most impressive was listening. I mentioned it was not only my birthday, but anothers the same day and one a few days ago. They ended up coming out with a birthday dessert for all of us at the end of the meal. Will absolutely be back! 👍🏼”
