“3 generations of our family have been going there. Never once have we been disappointed. The cheese buns and onion buns are a must. definitely a 5 star. would give 10 if I could, probably much higher. There is nothing there that will disappoint especially the baked goods. I can never go there without picking up the pizza bun to take to my son. He loves them as much now as when he was a child.”

Quality of ingredients was top notch. It will be my new go too, also they do not close in the late afternoon, which is why I ended up trying them out!”

“We just moved into the area and ventured out on a walk with our kiddos to try some of the local shops and found Jake’s Bakes. Wow!! We loved everything about our first visit. Jake is so lovely and kind, and really hit it off with our kiddos. The lemonades were so refreshing and yummy. And the BAKED GOODS — don’t even get me started because they’re delicious — every single one that we tried! We have decided that we’re going to frequent Jake’s Bakes for a coffee and a baked good as a weekend treat whenever we can!”

“We stopped in for lunch today and had a warm welcome! We had not been there for a long time but today we were very impressed as always and had a delicious lunch special. “I went to Made in Mexico to celebrate the birthday of my great-niece. I had the birria tacos and really enjoyed them. The food is great, of course (I actually ordered another helping of birria tacos to bring home for a friend and shrimp tacos for tomorrow's lunch - if they last that long). However, what put this place over the top for me was the staff. Ozz in particular was outstanding. He let me practise my rusty Spanish with him and when it was time to sing to the birthday girl, he sang louder and more joyfully than everyone. He danced with her and she was all smiles. What a great atmosphere - sorry about the noise; we can be a loud family.”

I was really impressed.
Half of the time I go out for Jerk chicken I think my own is better. I’m picky.
This was tasty, had a bite but not too much.
Goat curry was really good too.
Healthy portion sizes.
Coleslaw and rice/beans were good too.
Staff was friendly.
The only issue was that it was good I ate too much and was stuffed lol

“1-Follow up on reservations for my party by the restaurant hours ahead-and seating location was as requested.Notified we had two for service that day -Catt /Makayla .2-Informed both-we were catching up our once a month chit/chat and they informed us of the menus - etc —choices were made on our part with both of them checking on our various selections and keeping things flowing all the time.-questions of changing salad dressings with our selections-just one of the changes after that a few more but never gave the suggestion to us that it was any problem.-Several times we were asked how are things going-was there any thing we did not have or do we wish to change anything that was just not what we thought we were Ordering from the menus. We said no and they said enjoy your time .We did and again we left knowing that is a place in Barrie you might wanted to add to seek and find list of where to eat in Barrie,Ontario soon.”
