Excellent place for young people. The food is quite overpriced because there isn’t any competition for this kind of desert place in town. Large variety of macarons and the taste is not bad.
Giving a 3/5 on the food because of my experience yesterday. Dao is a place I go to frequently, especially for their strawberry shortcake. Yesterday I purchased two strawberry shortcakes and a mango shortcake and a few other baked good (custard, cheese tarts, etc). The shortcakes purchased yesterday was a huge let down, it was not the cream and bread we are used to, dry and tough bread and the cream wasn’t light and crisp as usual, heavy/thick and extra sweet. Nice place for coffee and treats. We ordered the carrot cake (delicious), creme brulee in a croissant which was fantastic and yes delicious as well, a mango bunny chocolate bunny. Had to try the macaroons as well. Everything was tasty. Service is fast and good at the same time. Great atmosphere with a welcoming vibe. There is lots of space and many tables to sit on.
