Just came here to read a book while drinking a cup of coffee, and the lady didn’t even charge me for coffee. Cozy little place. Will definitely come back if I’m in the area again.
Nice quiet place for breakfast or lunch. Relaxed and great food. Amazing prices!! Real Maple syrup!!
Dad (94yrs) and I love coming here, good food, good price. However server is also the cook, not always the friendliest, sometimes we have gone there and they have closed early,or not even opened, disappointed.

Mellos Coffee Shop is a classic Canadian diner that offers good quality breakfast at an amazing value. Customers can enjoy a 2 egg breakfast with coffee, bacon, and homefries for only $10. The fish and chips, priced at under $10 for takeout, are still as tasty as they were 20 years ago. The restaurant is known for its friendly service and fresh food like scrambled eggs, sausages, and toast, which make it a five-star experience. It has a cozy and homey atmosphere that takes visitors back in time. Many customers praise the place for its cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality. A typical breakfast for two, including a cup of tea and a drink, costs around $22. The staff, especially Judy, is often commended for their genuine friendliness. Although it’s not a fancy diner with a large menu, what’s served is good and cozy. The small seating area helps keep the noise down, making it a perfect spot for a quick, satisfying meal. Overall, Mellos Coffee Shop is a charming little place where guests can enjoy a delicious meal and a warm smile.
