“Good dessert, the cream roll was not too sweet which was even better than some Hongkong dessert shops for me. The coconut one is sweeter than this. The male staff he was super friendly and patient with my questions because I really had no idea which flavor those desserts were. He was so nice.
I believe their cake rolls should be delicious as well.“

“Hidden gem! My parents and I had the family platter for four, and we were so happy we did. The meats were juicy and flavourful, the qabuli rice was scrumptious, and the complimentary tea was such a lovely touch! I also ordered a mango smoothie and was blown away by how delicious it was. Service was excellent, and Lida was so sweet and helpful in chatting with us about the food and Eid. Thank you, we'll be back!“

“I went for a quick meal in mid-afternoon. I had the lamb and chicken combo which came with a side of green salad and rice. I chose not to have the rice. To my surprise I was I was charged less than what the price stated on the menu. The chicken and the lamb were both tender and spiced just right. I was very impressed by the quality of the food - fresh, clean and very tasty. For a quick and inexpensive meal, I highly recommend Afghan Cuisine on Overlea Blvd.“

“Genuinely exquisite. Felt like going to my Cousin’s own home. The portions are incredibly generous, and the staff who prepared everything was so friendly. A truly kind man.

We ordered chicken plates with rice, salad, potatoes. It was unbelievably tasty. The rice was seasoned perfectly! The salad was dressed to perfection, and the chicken was so good.

“My husband and I came in on a Friday night and even though it was incredibly busy and the atmosphere was a little chaotic, we had a wonderful experience. The young female cashier with curly hair who assisted us was absolutely outstanding. We didn’t get her name, but she took her time explaining the menu clearly and patiently and never made us feel rushed despite how packed it was. She was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful, making the entire ordering process so much easier. Her positive attitude and excellent customer service truly stood out. The food was also excellent, fresh, flavorful, and well worth the wait. She made our visit so enjoyable and we left very impressed. We’ll definitely be back.“

“I’ve been going to Bamiyan Kabob regularly with my coworkers about once or twice a month—for the past 2.5 years. It’s become one of our go-to spots.

The food is consistently excellent (5/5). The kabobs are always hot and juicy, the salad is fresh, and the naan is outstanding—served super hot, with crispy edges and a soft interior. It’s exactly what you want every time.

“Ordered the chicken shawarma wrap and a chicken plate with a pop — came out to about $30. Plate is a solid portion, rice, salad, and sauce, honestly amazing value for the size. Chicken was well-seasoned and not dry which is all I ask. Wrap was good too but the plate is the move.

Takeout was ready in like 5 minutes. Staff were friendly. Would recommend!“
