“Small restaurant (about 10 tables) that also seems to do a fair bit of take-out. We have been coming here for about a year and we always have a great experience. The food is delicious and the price is right- best dumplings in Toronto.“

“I absolutely love their bok choy with shiitake steamed bun — soft, fragrant and full of flavour — and the diced pork with glutinous rice sticky rice dumpling is rich, satisfying and perfectly seasoned. Everything tastes fresh, portions are generous, and it’s become one of my favourite places for a quick bite.“

“Recently dropped by to pickup some soup dumplings, and I noticed that there are more items for sale. The cashier confirmed that there's new ownership. Service is better, but the skins of the dumplings are thicker. Still good though.“

“Currently residing in Ohio but was in town for a wedding 10-26-25 and Hungry Hogs did the food! THE. FOOD. WAS. AMAAAAAZING! He had brisket, pulled pork, chicken, armadillo eggs (cheese stuffed jalapeño covered in sausages wrapped on bacon and smoked), mash potatoes, Mac and cheese, pasta salad....... it was ALL DELICIOUS! HIGHLY recommend. I wish he was on Ohio! If you hire these guys you will NOT be disappointed!“

“Bao House absolutely exceeded expectations. The deep-fried tofu is some of the best I’ve ever had perfectly light, airy, and crispy on the outside while staying soft inside. It’s not greasy at all, just beautifully cooked and incredibly satisfying.
The pan-fried dumplings were equally impressive: crisp on the bottom, tender on top, and packed with flavour. Every bite was comforting and well-balanced. And the soup dumplings deserve special mention rich, juicy, and full of depth, with delicate wrappers that held together perfectly.
You can really tell care goes into both the food and execution here. Everything we tried was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and genuinely delicious. Bao House is the kind of place that makes you want to come back and order the same dishes again and then branch out to try more. Highly recommend.“
