“I got take out last night, rushing to eat before work (salad and chicken shawarma sandwich). It tasted odd... shortly after,, I called the location to tell them, something was off with the ingredients. I wasn't sure of it was the onions, turnips etc. something was left out too long perhaps... and today I am sick as a dog. I've eaten here before. I think they need better quality control on the food... especially being safely stored.. perhaps temperatures..etc“

Update 2025 they are now located further south out of the plaza but the food quality is top-notch the best thing is the price is very fair I have to stay and it was very fresh there was very nice grilling texture and also the owners are very nice and other best thing about it is that they did not even prompt for tips so it's actually cheaper than it looks and there's comfortable like seating inside as well“

“I had the pleasure of visiting Munzur Restaurant and Butcher House for the very first time, and it was truly a wonderful experience! From the moment you walk in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere makes you feel like you’ve been transported straight to Turkey 🇹🇷.

We originally came for the doner, but unfortunately it was already sold out – which only proves how popular it is! Instead, we tried the köfte (meatballs) and the chicken shish kebab, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic, rich, and prepared with so much care. The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned – every bite was a delight.

The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and friendly, which made the whole dining experience even more special. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and hospitality are so genuine and heartfelt.

If you’re looking for authentic Turkish cuisine in Toronto, Munzur Restaurant and Butcher House is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return – next time, I’ll make sure to come earlier to finally try their famous doner! 🌟“

“Really delicious chicken wrap, peaceful environment, and on top of that I have never visited any shop in my life whose owner (the uncle) is as excellent and full of wisdom as him. Also, the parking was not congested when I visited on a weekend evening, so there is good space to park in my experience. The owner is very honest as well, unlike some other businesses that like to put paid and fake ratings.“
