“Excellent Chinese restaurant, great atmosphere and delicious food, especially Lanzhou beef noodles. My girlfriend and I often lunch her, and because of the pandemic, we are now ordering delivery. Very fast, tasty and not expensive. ps. You should definitely try fried noodles, chunks of lamb, and barbecue skewers.“

“we got the cream shrimp, tangsuyuk, jjamppong, white jjamppong, and jjajjangmyeon! i especially loved the jjajjangmyeon and cream shrimp, the flavours were just like the ones in korea. i really love the smokey taste of the jjamppong and it also has tons of seafood. despite it being really affordable they definitely didn’t slack on the food quality and quantity!“

“Still hungry after a bowl of noodle... And it's kinda expensive.
Taste wise, just about average, nothing to praise about.
Beef internal is so so, had better ones and cheaper price nearby.
Nothing too special to crave for a revisit.“

“I believe that this place was amazing as before going to highschool myself, my friends and I would go here almost every week with the great value it included, being close to my old school and more. I believe that this place was so friendly and tasted really amazing everytime, with great service as well. One time I had accidentally left my backpack there and then they had kept it there to keep it safe and gave it back to me as soon as I came back after realising. This place also allowed me and my friends to create some memories before parting ways and even though we may have had been a really loud group, it was my favourite place to eat with the infinite free refills which filled us up everytime. I would visit again if I have time. Without a doubt one of my most favourite places I went during lunch!“

“Jimmy, our friend from Pittsburgh, USA told us about this place. He read about it on a Chinese community group chat and is determined to eat here when he gets to visit Toronto. He said the food is authentic from his hometown in Anhui, China. He is missing real Chinese food.
We have eaten here twice. Service is friendly and thoughtful. My 92 yo mom loves the wide soup noodles (their signature dish). I like the rice noodles with sour beans.
Washrooms are clean but they are downstairs in the basement.“

“Its a wonderful place to enjoy a hearty and authentic meal. I visited with friends, and we were impressed by the fresh ingredients and rich flavors in every dish. The staff was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. I’ll definitely be coming back for more“

“Went with some friends and family. Ordered 5 dishes. Im not a person that can handle to much spicy but their 3 peppers wasn't that spicy at all. I would say go with the recommendation from the server . Everything he told us to order was amazing. We decided to order one thing that he did not mention and that ended up being a salty dish that was our least favorite. Overall great experience, the restaurant is very cute with painted walls of seafood and the service was amazing.“

“I visit this Guilin rice noodle shop once a week. Dry mixed rice noodle is its signature. Braised pork and fried to crispy pork belly are paired with sour bamboo shoots and sour beans, giving it a unique flavor. You can also try the hot and sour stir-fried rice noodles. The stir-fried pork with chili peppers has a soy sauce aroma. The sourness mainly comes from the garnished sour beans and sour bamboo shoots. It is not acetic acid, but it is also quite delicious.“

“Small restaurant (about 10 tables) that also seems to do a fair bit of take-out. We have been coming here for about a year and we always have a great experience. The food is delicious and the price is right- best dumplings in Toronto.“

“I always wanted to try their food. And when I did, I loved everything about it: the taste, service & price. They scored 10/10
Their noodles are exactly how I liked and I’m very picky in term of noodles 😉 because I always ordered rice even when I’m in ramen or udon shop. The first time I went late at night so I only placed 2 orders and they hit the spot. The chicken rice dish was pretty uniquely spicy & I was amazed with the noodles. Very simple, yet effective. The next time I ordered several side dishes all of which didn’t disappoint. Beef rice is full of beef and perfectly cooked 😍
The customer service is fast & friendly. Staff came frequently to pour water in cup.
With the late opening hours plus super affordable price & great service (you can refill the noodles) it’s really close to perfection in my book. If any minus point (at all) it’s the parking issue. But I’m ok with it. Among many choices in Yonge street, this humble restaurant still stands out and attracts various groups of customers.“

“On a reco from someone from Korea and who can make gimbap herself, I ventured out to find this recommended gimbap place after finding about the Korean dish from a TV show. I gotta say that I was impressed by the size of the roll and the quality for the price. Two rolls is a lot of food. One is enough; two is maybe gluttonous.
Telling the front staff that this was my first time there, she recommended the Kimchi Tuna Gimbap and then the Bulgogi Gimbap. The rolls were well-presented and were indeed delicious. Based on the quickly forming line-up for a weekday lunch, this place is clearly a favourite in the neighbourhood.“

“Really good noodles! And they give you noodle refills! My daughter at almost 3 bowls of noodles! Noodles come in a super heated bowl and piping hot! I burned my tongue but it was so good!
I had a super spicy lamb and it was delicious! Also the clams were delicious and I don’t know what sauce that was on it but it was so good!
Can’t remember what else we tried but the whole family enjoyed it. Would go again!“

“Oct2024: third visit, and fond of the beef dry noodles, extra spicy and crispy pork bun. The special, marinated pork belly on rice with a braised egg is good too.
Have tried several of the side dishes and liked all of them: three delicacies in tofu, tofu with preserved egg, kelp salad, wood fungus salad, spicy beef tripe, crispy bun with pork and siu mai.
The noodles and sides are a good size serving for single diners. I think a noodle dish plus one side would be filling for most diners.
Rice noodles are also offered if you don't want wheat based noodles.
They also have lunch specials between 11:30am-3:30pm.
Seating is limited and austere, but service and food was excellent.
Not many places offer dry noodles and I thought this version was quite good and a decent serving size, will be back.
Vegetarian options: There are tofu dishes, vegetable dishes and dry noodle dishes made without meat.
The dry noodles sauce is made without meat or animal products and ingredients are listed in the menu: sesame paste, cilantro, green onion, sour green bean, dried radish.
Parking: Plenty of free parking, the restaurant is located in an office building surrounded by a parking lot.“

“Ordered grilled fish with mild spice, but it wasn’t spicy at all. The fish was very good—tender and with few bones.
The dish was served at room temperature, so it needed to be heated before eating for the best experience. After the meal, I felt very thirsty, possibly due to the seasoning being a bit salty.“

“Everything tastes great! I love their kimbap especially tuna and shrimp. Spicy pork, Tonkatsu, chewy noodle and pork fried rice are my favorites. If you are looking for delicious kimbap and Korean food, I definitely recommend you try them!!“
“Just ordered via UrberEat - good portion and flavour, clean presentation which are the important 3 elements for take out. Some dishes are on promotion and they didn’t cheap out on the portion which shows good business sense (I will never order again from places that do that). Son, the Canadian born likes the Chicken Leg lunch and I enjoy more authentic dishes - it’s rare to find a restaurant we all enjoy so will order again!“

“The crabs are very delicious. The waiter is also very enthusiastic. He has been introducing it to us. Someone will clean the bone plate as soon as it is full. The cooking method of Jinsha is very good. The frying can not squeeze out the oil. It is very good.“

“Love that there is one of these Hong Kong style cafes within Fairview Mall. The space is a bit tight but very clean and bright. Service was good and fairly accommodating. The milk tea was flavourful and silky. I had the instant noodles with chicken and ginger scallion oil. Not sure if it was because I was hungry but it tasted really good! I'm knocking off one star as the prices are a little bit high for this style of dining, but I also understand that the rent is probably very high at the mall.
Parking: Parking at this end of the mall can be a pain. If you don't mind walking a bit, there are lots of other spots at other mall entrances.“
