We absolutely love this place! My wife is a huge fan of their churros, and honestly, they are the best we’ve had. They are always incredibly fresh, crispy, and come with amazing fillings—the display case is a dream for anyone with a sweet tooth! 🍩✨
Beyond the desserts, the food is consistently delicious and made with fresh ingredients. What’s even better is the pricing; it’s very affordable and offers great value for the quality you get.
The restaurant itself has such a warm and welcoming vibe. I love the colorful tables and the traditional Mexican decor—it feels very authentic and cozy. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or a treat, the staff makes you feel right at home.

“The food is top-notch. The problem is when you go to Spain, Spanish cuisine is just regular food. Here it is exotic and gourmet and you have to pay for that privelge. I actually thought the portions were a little small. I know it is tapas but it would be quite expensive to fill up on tapas if you ate the quantity of food you would eat at a typical Canadian restaurant. A big bowl of bread would help... especially to mop up the womderful sauces.“

“A few weeks ago, I visited Casa Barcelona and was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding quality of both the food and the service. We ordered the paella, croquettes, and crab cakes—everything was absolutely spectacular. The portions were generous, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh.

Our server took great care of us, offering a thoughtful overview of the menu, and we even had the chance to speak with the owner, who shared a brief and interesting history of the restaurant. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with our experience at Casa Barcelona and will definitely be returning.“

“Great little neighborhood gem. Family owned and run, featuring a creative mix of Italian and Spanish cuisine. Somehow, it all works, including the extensive and eclectic wine list. We had a great evening, served by owner Angela, and the food, from the baby gem lettuce salad, to the branding, and daily ragu with papardelle, was all excellent. Small place; reservations highly recommended.“
