We stopped by Edulis on a Tuesday night after wandering around Leslieville and lucked into a table without much of a wait. The tasting portions were small but the mushroom toast alone made the trip worth it, so rich and earthy we ended up ordering a second round. Our server took real time explaining the menu and pacing the courses for us, which we appreciated since neither of us speaks much Spanish or French for the wine list. Just finished Sunday brunch at Edulis. In the 20 years I’ve lived in Toronto, I can say with incredible confidence that this is one of the few places in the city that is:
1. Worth the hype
2. Worth the wait (reservations, especially for Sunday brunch are hard to come by)
3. Worth the money
