“Not sure what to expect. Collingwood has many places that could be amazing, but let you down for one reason or another. The Tremont Cafe did not disappoint in any way.The decor is lovely, staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful. We were a party of 8 for an anniversary brunch. Everyone was well taken care of and very happy with everything about the meal. The appetizer was seared tuna with a lovely herb rub and tahini sauce, perfectly cooked and very tasty.I really enjoyed the Smoked Trout hash - every aspect of the dish was perfectly seasoned and cooked from the vinaigrette salad base through the salt and crunch in the potato hash, perfectly poached eggs with hollandaise (so much better than Poppy's) and the amount of smoked trout.I would have paid more for this dish it made me so happy and was so delicious!!!I can't remember the name of the dessert - cheese, phyllo and cream anglaise? or fresh? It was delightful. The Bitter Rosso mocktail was delicious as was their Aperol Spritz and coffees.Every aspect of the meal was enjoyable (what a delightful little motif on the tang of the knife) and we want to thank the chef and staff for such yummy food and a lovely brunch ?”
“This is a must try place if you are in the area!!!! The staff is so kind! The drinks and food are top notch! The whole experience was awesome! I can’t wait to go back again..this week! Before we leave back to NJ!”
“Absolutely loved this spot! Exceptional Chai latte and a veg curry bowl just hit the spot!!! Highly recommend this restaurant for a healthy meal and beautiful atmosphere.”
“Joe was SO great!! So friendly and attentive, and really gave us the authentic Italian experience! He always made sure we had fresh water and that our table was nice and neat. Food was top notch. Thank you Joe!!”
“Book yourself a spot asap!!! Bello pizza takes you through an incredible journey. Creative, delicious, balanced cocktails and incredible jaw dropping plates. Not one thing goes unnoticed. You are treated like family the moment you arrive. Care and love is put into every dish. Can’t wait to come again. Try everything, you won’t regret a thing!!!”
“One of the few places open for lunch during the week, aside from fast food chains. Ordered the Greek salad bowl. Very fresh ingredients….home made Greek salad dressing and the garlic sauce was insane. Will definitely be going back to try more.”
“The most beautiful experience I've had in years at a Restaurant chain....Always went to Scarborough and others Restaurant s in Durham but this one stood out for us..Chazz was our server friendly, attentive, very professional. Anna the manager came over to make sure we were well served and taken care of. Extremely wonderful experience. Food and drinks were tasty and great temperature great flavour!! We will be going back b4 the End of Easter holidays ?? ??”
“The food and service was excellent as always. This was my first time visiting on a Friday, it was very loud so chatting with our friends was difficult however it was also very busy so the noise level was to be expected. Love Northwinds, we are already looking forward to our next visit.”
“I was honestly totally surprised at how great this place was. I thought a small town restaurant preparing high end meals was just another touristy money grab. Was I wrong. The food is reasonably priced and it is outstanding. I will absolutely return and recommend this place to anyone.Hats off to the chef and wait staff as they were courteous and polite. We were there for lunch and I had a burger and salad. I have never experienced a burger like that in my 70 years on this planet. The house salad dressing is also amazing.”
“Everything ive had here is great. I order atleast once a week. Here are some of my favourites. Jeera rice, paneer tikka masala, masala naan, chili cheese naan, butter chicken. Bullet naan is good but super hot. Only complaint is its priced a bit high. But all of the curries the containers are full and lots of protein.”
“I can’t believe I’ve never tried this spot sooner! Some of the best ramen I’ve tasted! We recommend this place to anyone who passes through Stayner. Friendly staff as well :)”
“We visited from out of town and Black Bellows did not disappoint. Amazing venue and warm welcome from the staff. Derek is an absolute champ! It’s hard to find a good Bitter and Porter, and they delivered on both. Cheers team!”
“We always like to pop into Collingwood Breweries when we are in the area, to gather refreshments, gifts and just to enjoy a chat with Scott regarding his upcoming monthly activities. This brewery is a great part of the Collingwood community. Scott is always open for new ideas. This year we are planning a large event for curlers around the world in Innisfil. Scott was kind enough to recommend musicians heKnows his customers enjoy. This brewery is a friendly community, welcoming everyone to enjoy some fun, good food, refreshments and live entertainment. We will always take the time to stop by and pick up our favorite brews.”
“Okay first of all, the alleyway walking inside gives Harry Potter vibes, so magical. The staff is truly amazing, super friendly and they all know how to make an amazing flat white! Huge wine selection, light menu and an assortment of baked goods that change every day or so… I married my favourite barista a few years ago, so the staff here better WATCH OUT if they keep up this kind of quality! ?”
“Lovely brewery! A lot of kid friendly activities including a fun train set on the New Years Day event. Marie and all the other staff were very kind and welcoming.”
“Very cozy place and good atmosphere. Barista did what he could making anazing espresso with oveburnt coffee beans... Please, switch to speciality coffee beans, and your place will be a real and the only coffee gem in C-Wood.”
“Delicious. The vegan nachos are also gluten-free and they put pickled onions on them which was amazing. Hopefully they get more gluten-free vegan things on their menu. I will be coming backVegetarian options: A relatively good selection of vegan thingsDietary restrictions: Need more gluten-free things that are also vegan.”
“Where do i begin? Beautiful atmosphere, went there for my anniversary after a horrible experience at another restaurant the prior night and had zero regret. The food is amazing, if you’re unsure whether you will enjoy it or not, have no doubt.Everything was so fresh: this is the kind of food I would drive the distance for and, in fact, my boyfriend and I have already planned our next trip up to Collingwood just to visit. We were so amazed by the food we ordered, the drinks, and the dessert we had asked to speak to the owner of the restaurant to give our compliments as everything ordered was beyond expectation. You can tell the chef truly has a passion, all the food was made with that Italian love. The service was amazing, our server Adriano was so friendly, took the time to check in on us, converse with us, and as a matter a fact every worker we had spoken to had given us amazing service, always checking in on us, stopped to take the time to converse with us about our cultures, and even shared their beautiful stories of their travels. Truly felt like we were family friends. 100/10 service for the books.Anyone who gives this restaurant a bad rating I wouldn’t pay much attention to as they must not like flavourful food or authentic culture.if I could give more stars I would, I cannot wait to visit again.YOU MUST COME HERE !”
“In town for a Blues playoff game at the EB. Classic British Fish & Chips. We split a Fisherman's Platter. Not a crumb left. Light batter, crisp chips. Great food, value and service. You will not be disappointed.”
“Always a great place to kick back and enjoy the family meal together, and the joy, watching everyone respect and enjoy the commoradorie of the regulars keeping a grand tradition of a great gathering place.”
“their carrot muffins are my fave. if I want something more fancy, their cupcakes and cheesecake are my next faves. even their cookies are amazing!I've never had anything bad there. such a cute space”
“I have found my new favourite Jamaican food spot I have moved here 6 months ago and am so happy to find them.friendly great service and amazing food thank you I’ll be ”
“My wife and I were visiting Collingwood for the long weekend. We came across Poppy's via google search, honestly.. great experience! Shawn helped make some great suggestions and the food was great! Definitely will come by again when we're in the area.”
“Mother Tongue Bistro had a very well designed menu that was sure to cover a wide range of tastes and preferences. The food was prepared and served with great attention to details. The service, location, and atmosphere were also top notch and the chicken dumplings were the best dumplings i've ever tried. The French fries were to die for!The only downside about the food was the overpowering amount of oil in almost every dish we ordered. In my dish, the oil was so much that it was dripping out of my lobster Banh MI, making it messy and quite difficult to hold.Despite all of the nice things about this restaurant, I would only recommend it if oily food is your thing or if it is at least a factor that doesn't bother you.”
“Great sushi, and super friendly owners! Always a pleasure going here. It's my go to sushi spot in the Wasaga area. One particular item, bean curd-avocado roll, is unlike anywhere else, my favorite vegetarian option.Edit 23 February 2024: Still Amazing!Vegetarian options: Somewhat limited, but what they have is great.”
“This was one of our first outings with our newborn. We came here on a Monday evening and fortunately it was not busy which helped with a newborn. We each had a cocktail and a beer. The cocktails are fantastic and I would recommend them; I had the old fashioned and it was very very good. The food itself was good but nothing to write home about; we had the braised beef noodles, tofu bao and banh mi fries. The tofu in the bao was very good but the bun made it lose some of the flavour. The noodles also were good but the noodles could have used more sauce. The pork belly on the fries were very good but after you had water the 4 pieces the fries felt like they could use some more sauce. The vibe was very very good. The aesthetic and coziness were fantastic.Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is somewhat kid friendly. The biggest issue is none of the washrooms have change tables. We had a newborn and that was a challenge.”
“Absolutely incredible. This is my wife's favourite spot, even out of any Thai/Viet spots in the GTA we've been to.Pad Thai, Pho and Crispy Ginger Chicken are the best we've ever had.The Thai BBQ chicken skewers are so mindblowingly insane. Whenever we take friends, they freak out at how good they are.Never been disappointed yet, and quality is consistently perfect every time we've been.”
“Amazing pizza! I am celiac and have never had a problem with their cauliflower pizza, I can only imagine how good their normal pizza is!Dietary restrictions: celiac - gluten allergy”
“A beautiful boutique filled with amazing products. There’s something for everyone! Can’t beat the friendly, attentive service and small town vibe. A must stop shop when you’re in town!”
“They are our go to pub in the area! We live here, and love this place...great food and service every time, and we go often. Highly recommend the prime rib dinner on the weekend, huge portion, succulent, enough for lunch leftovers. Also recommend the yorkshire appie with beef, caesar salad, chicken fingers. Always good! Have noticed smaller fingers portion lately, but in past, the portions were too big anyways. We'll be back often for lunch or dinner!”
