“This place is a hidden gem in Oakville! The food is simply outstanding—authentic Turkish cuisine at its best. We ordered the Royal Bursa, Iskender Kebap, and Doner Salad, and all three dishes were exceptional. For drinks, we had the Ayran, Turkish coffee with grape juice, and Turkish tea. The Ayran was incredibly fresh, and the Turkish coffee with grape juice made for a delightful combo. Overall, it was a fabulous experience. A must-visit spot, and I'll definitely be back soon!“

The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming. It's like you're stepping into a home in Turkey. The staff are super friendly and really know their stuff when it comes to the food. And speaking of the food... the 'Shashlik' was amazing! Perfectly spiced and every bite felt like a taste of Turkish street food. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality you get. “I saw an ad for this place on instagram and was pleasently surprised to see mansaf! We finally got the chance to eat here today and our meal was delicious, 10/10 would recommend. We ordered mansaf and two chicken shawermas. The mansaf is a Jordanian traditional dish and the chef did an amazing job making it as authentic as possible. The shawerma was fresh, filling, and very good! Overall, the price was very reasonable and the service was great as the chef was kind and patient with us. I encourage everyone to give it a try and support a small business :)“

You have to try the Lahmacun with the hit of sumac, lemon and parsley. WOW!! Flavour explosion! Soujuk is like the tastier version of pepperoni! The pizza boat - thin crust like you’ve never seen. Delicious! Kunefe dessert is a must; with their Turkish ice cream! There are bracelets for donation, proceeds going to a Turkish orphanage, and so much good. “I tried the chicken shawarma wrap and was blown away. The owner was so friendly and warm, and took the time to explain to me that this style of shawarma was different from the other ones in the area. Hands down, the best I've ever had! The mixture of flavours from the sauces complimented each other so well, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked. It was so good that I went back the next day for another one, then again the following week. I'll definitely be going back again soon.“

“I recently visited Almast Turkish in Mississauga and overall the experience was fine, but not exceptional. I tried their baklava, which looked appealing, but the taste was just okay - not as rich or fresh as I’ve had at other Turkish spots. On the other hand, I did enjoy their coffee. It had a good flavour and was probably the highlight of my visit.

The service was polite and efficient, though nothing particularly memorable. The space itself is pleasant enough if you want to sit and have a dessert with coffee, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back. In my opinion, it’s a decent option if you’re nearby and craving something sweet, but it didn’t stand out compared to other bakeries or cafés in the area.
