“Really enjoyed brunch here! The breakfast poutine was delicious and the desserts' presentation was beautiful (they tasted even better). Service was fantastic as well and the atmosphere was cozy on a cold day.

One piece of constructive criticism would be to improve the espresso quality as it was subpar and not really an espresso shot at the length it was pulled.

“I ordered a steak medium. It came medium rare. She offered to put it back on the grill for me but I declined because the steak was already a little tough and I didn't want it to be tougher. My friend had her steak well done and she had trouble chewing but - well done steak - I didn't expect any different. The gravy was way to salty and hard to eat. The server was great, she left us alone and let us talk, filling out drinks when needed. We did have to track her down at the end for the bill but she got very busy and we were there a long time. I would recommend this place just not the steak. We both had cheesecake for dessert and took some home.“

“We received a gift card from a family member for $100 USD as a Christmas Present and were excited about enjoying a meal at this restaurant. The gift card was purchased directly from Joey's, not a 3rd party. We went and everything initially about the restaurant was very enjoyable. The food was very good, the service was attentive and we enjoyed our experience until the cheque arrived. When we we presented the gift card (electronically) our server went to speak with a ⁶manager and then returned to inform us that the $100 USD would be honoured in Canadian dollars. $100 USD is worth $144.50 Canadian dollars according to google when checked today. We paid the bill and tipped the service team 22% and left after effectively having $44.50 taken from us and our family member in what felt like to us, theft by conversion. The manager in question did not come to follow up after our expressing our disappointment JOEY's is already a very expensive restaurant. Further, the gift card information indicates that Joey's has US based restaurants. I'm quite sure that Canadian dollar gift cards are not accepted at par in the US. This ruined for us, what was otherwise a positive experience, through what felt like to us, an act of corporate greed and impersonal profiteering. After this experience we will not be back and sadly, I cannot recommend JOEY's as a place for anyone else to dine at. Any company that sells a gift card directly and then fails to deliver full value is patently dishonest, in my opinion.“

“AMAZING WEDDING CATERING! We are just back from our honeymoon in Nassau, and as we organize our new lives as Mr and Mrs, we can't stop talking about what the Royals Restaurant did at our wedding. That evening, the chatter was surely talking about the food. And guests are still talking about it. The meals were outstanding. The Pesto Chicken with Roasted Red Peppers & Goat Cheese, the Roasted Sirloin with Yorkshire Pudding, the hors d'oeuvres, just to recap a few.... were thoroughly enjoyed. With Chef Derrick carving the beef, he definitely finished off the buffet line in style. Plates were full, and then enjoyed by each guest. The flavours were simply succulent. But it was not just about the food. Melissa and Lindsay were at the venue far before the guests arrived. The place settings were precisely arranged ensuring that everything was lined up. The stemware and cutlery were perfect. Their management of the setup was amazing. The staff supported all the guests so professionally. A big thank you to Melanie, for operating the bar with class. To all the staff in the background, our sincere thank you as well. From the first minute that the catering trailer showed up, to the last minute when Melissa & Lindsay left at 1:00am... we were thrilled that the Royals Restaurant were a part of our wedding day. “2023 Visit:
I rarely go to Lansdowne since it's a little out of the way for me but I'm glad I went to Craft tonight. The bartender, Cole, was super fun and friendly. He chatted with me and my buddy and made us feel welcome as hell. I didn't eat anything there tonight but I would go back just for the service!

2025 Visit:
Visited Craft again after attending the Christmas Market in Lansdowne. This time was taken care of by Colin! He was super nice and took wonderful care of us and deserves a million shout outs! Had some snacks and drinks during Happy Hour, they have some really solid deals.“

We got all small plates and some of the most popular mains. Everything is cooked perfectly. They did not overlook the supporting roles - the green beans in the steak, the croquet cubes in the salad, the pickled apple on top of the scallops… were all very tasty.“

“Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life and I’m not kidding. The chef Arup Jana made an off-menu item for us because it was so good I’d contacted him about it (roasted carrot and brie soup, created for a charity event I attended last month). We had soup at the restaurant and also bought several more servings as takeout to bring home. We also tried about seven of their tapas plates and every single one was incredible. Please go to this restaurant.“

“Came here for breakfast every morning during my stay at the Westin. Only got the buffet on the last day, and it is definitely the most value. They have a nice selection of different breakfast items at the buffet and they are all well made and taste delicious. All of the a la carte items are also good, but portions are on the smaller side. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming.“
