“We ordered 8 sandwiches - and they were all made by the time we would have ordered 1 Subway sandwich!

This place is stealth. It looks like a little convenience store but packs a punch. Lots of meat and toppings on the sandwiches. Thick Italian buns and generous with the toppings.

We are visiting from BC - this was worth a stop!

“I don’t think we ever ate so well in a restaurant, and it’s not an overstatement. We were looking for whole foods, healthy and nutritious options and… well, we found this place, and it didn’t disappoint. Everything felt so fresh, made on the spot, with a simple menu of vegan and vegetarian options changing every day and according to the season. The atmosphere is also really relaxing and people working here are so nice. I wish we lived in Ottawa to come back to this place more often. We need more places like this!“

“Went to Fatboys for the first time tonight and it won’t be our last. After waiting for a seat we were met by the owner who welcomed us and told us we would enjoy the food and he wasn’t wrong we had the Kentucky shared platter and it was definitely filling and the price was affordable. Our server was Emma who filled our drinks and told us what food was coming and what dips were available. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. Will definitely be back“

“Stayed at the hotel for Christmas and it was great. The room was a bit small, but very comfortable. The shower was great and loved the quality of the toiletries and products provided. The rooms are also very quiet, I knew the room beside was occupied but I never heard anything. The staff was nice, helpful, kind. The restaurant is fantastic! Only downside, there is no pool or spa. But, I will definitely be returning in my future travels.“

“I ordered a steak medium. It came medium rare. She offered to put it back on the grill for me but I declined because the steak was already a little tough and I didn't want it to be tougher. My friend had her steak well done and she had trouble chewing but - well done steak - I didn't expect any different. The gravy was way to salty and hard to eat. The server was great, she left us alone and let us talk, filling out drinks when needed. We did have to track her down at the end for the bill but she got very busy and we were there a long time. I would recommend this place just not the steak. We both had cheesecake for dessert and took some home.“

It was a dark and stormy night in Ottawa. A group of hungry friends, known only as "The Pizza Pirates," had a plan. Their target: the most delicious pizza in the city, a BBQ masterpiece from a local pizzeria.
Armed with nothing but their appetites and a map, the Pizza Pirates set out on their daring mission. They navigated through the bustling streets, dodging rain puddles and avoiding the watchful eyes of hungry cats. Finally, they arrived at their destination: a pizzeria with a reputation for its mouthwatering BBQ pizza.

With hearts pounding, the Pizza Pirates slipped inside. The pizzeria was empty, save for a single slice of the coveted BBQ pizza sitting on the counter. The captain of the Pizza Pirates, a fearless individual known as "Pepperoni Pete," grabbed the slice and made a run for it.
But the pizza wasn't going to give up without a fight! A mysterious force seemed to be pulling the slice back towards the counter. Pepperoni Pete struggled, but the slice was too strong. “This place is truly one of a kind—unforgettable, in the best way. As visitors from out of town, we immediately wished we had somewhere like this back home, especially one that opens this early. Their breakfast, brunch, and lunch portions are just right: enough to keep you full and energized without feeling heavy.

The standout for me was the café au lait—milk coffee, or Milchkaffee in German. Paired with their breakfast options—bacon, cheese, eggs, or any of their fresh sandwiches—it was perfect. We even grabbed a bag of day-old scones (half a dozen) for the three of us on the way out, which was half price and still delicious.

The whole experience was exquisite. If you’re in the area, this place is absolutely worth a visit. We only wish something like this existed in Calgary, Alberta.

“Visiting Ottawa from London, Ontario and went to this restaurant. It was really good. I had the pretzel & bier cheese dip and it was amazing. I like how the cheese sauce is made if actual cheese and not the fake, disgusting processed stuff.“

“We had a couple of cupcakes, Holiday Party Pants and Chocolate Orange. We had the Homemade Hot Cocoa and the London Fog.
The cupcakes were great, very moist and tasty. The cocoa was also very good. We found the London Fog's brand of tea a bit bitter, but otherwise it was good.
The person that served us was friendly and efficient.
Bring cash for tips as their POS machine doesn't give that option.“

“Randomly came across Keerthi on Instagram and messaged her. From the moment we first started chatting, we just knew she had to be the one to make our wedding cake. Keerthi is such a kind, respectful, supportive woman and is incredibly talented. Her pricing is great, her cake flavour combinations are delicious, she makes the best bento sized sample cakes (large enough for the whole family to do the tasting with you) and is an effective communicator. We chose a two tier cake and she knocked the look and flavours of each tier out of the park. We would definitely contact her again for future events. We now have a friend and amazing baker we can turn to for our future life events. Thank you so much Keerthi :) would highly recommend“
