We found this place in the “ Find me Gluten Free” app on our day trip to Ottawa. My husband is Gluten Free and the minute he heard Fish & Chips, he was sold. Our meal did not disappoint, he said the Fish & Chips were delicious and I had the best burger I’ve had in a long time. The place is cute, service was super friendly… a hidden gem for sure!
You walk into a glorified shed, space heaters buzzing. The waiter stares at you with expressionless eyes and one AirPod in. Vibes? Immaculate. Menus? Paper. Food? Frickin delicious. Probably my favourite southern style food in Ottawa. If you want to go out and pay for good food, not symbolic ambiance - this spot is for you.

After hearing about this place for a few years I finally got the chance to give it a try. Let me say it was well worth the wait. Great vibe, friendly service and the best fried chicken I have ever had. My husband agrees! If you have been thinking about going you should absolutely go! Oh and everything can be made gluten free which is a huge bonus as someone with celiac!
