Big shoutout to this Lone Star!! I often go there before events in downtown Ottawa and it's such a great spot! The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating with me and my friends! My food and drinks have always been delicious and fresh! Do think about getting a reservation if you plan on going for dinner time on weekends as this is a busy spot!Vegetarian options: The bean and corn quesadillas are amazing!
To celebrate his 21st birthday, our son picked Lone Star (Byward Market, Ottawa) for our family celebration. It's his favourite restaurant. The rest of our party of six had never been to a Lone Star restaurant before. The staff was absolutely exceptional! They were energetic, smiling, polite and focused on us having a memorable evening. It's been many years since we were at the Lone Star. We went for lunch the other day and it's was excellent. We both had the Chimichanga's and they were huge and tasty. I could only eat about half of mine - my husband did manage to eat all of his. The waiter had told us they were large. I found the filling to be really tasty and the chicken was tender.
